![]() virNetworkAssignDef was allocating a new network object, initing and grabbing its lock, then potentially freeing it without unlocking or destroying the lock. In practice 1) this will probably never happen, and 2) even if it did, the lock implementation used on most (all?) platforms doesn't actually hold any resources for an initialized or held lock, but it still bothered me, so I moved the realloc that could lead to this bad situation earlier in the function, and now the mutex isn't inited or locked until we are assured of complete success. |

LibVirt : simple API for virtualization Libvirt is a C toolkit to interact with the virtualization capabilities of recent versions of Linux (and other OSes). It is free software available under the GNU Lesser General Public License. Virtualization of the Linux Operating System means the ability to run multiple instances of Operating Systems concurrently on a single hardware system where the basic resources are driven by a Linux instance. The library aim at providing long term stable C API initially for the Xen paravirtualization but should be able to integrate other virtualization mechanisms if needed.
