Emmanuel Grumbach e03bbb62cf iwlwifi: don't disable SCD chain extension on newer devices
7000 device series have a fix for this hardware feature.
Stop disabling it, and get an improvement in Tx throughput.
This feature allows the scheduler to fetch more frames on
the fly while an A-MPDU is being built - which means that
we can get larger A-MPDU. This, of course, give an
improvement in the Tx throughput.

Johannes Berg 0d8877a10d iwlwifi: move some configuration parameters into DVM
There are a number of parameters that aren't really hardware
specific but rather define how the DVM firmware is used.
Move these into the DVM configuration.

Emmanuel Grumbach b1f553c748 iwlwifi: make device configuration bus agnostic
Newer devices can work on different buses. This means that
their configuration can be shared between different buses.
Hence the configuration structures should exported to all
the buses and not only to PCIE. Change this.

Note that this requires all the fields to be the same
amongst the buses. If differences will appear, we can always
define a part that is bus dependent. Today, this is not
needed.

Meenakshi Venkataraman 66a770729a iwlwifi: do not use shadow registers by default
Shadow registers in the device are meant to
allow the driver to update certain device
registers without needing to wake up all
components of the device. However, using
this feature in the device causes
communication between the driver and the
device to become unreliable, resulting in
host command timeouts.

Disable this feature by default till a fix is
available for the bug.

David S. Miller 0d6c4a2e46 Merge git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/davem/net
Conflicts:
	drivers/net/ethernet/intel/e1000e/param.c
	drivers/net/wireless/iwlwifi/iwl-agn-rx.c
	drivers/net/wireless/iwlwifi/iwl-trans-pcie-rx.c
	drivers/net/wireless/iwlwifi/iwl-trans.h

Resolved the iwlwifi conflict with mainline using 3-way diff posted
by John Linville and Stephen Rothwell. In 'net' we added a bug
fix to make iwlwifi report a more accurate skb->truesize but this
conflicted with RX path changes that happened meanwhile in net-next.

In e1000e a conflict arose in the validation code for settings of
adapter->itr. 'net-next' had more sophisticated logic so that
logic was used.

Johannes Berg c27bdc84d6 iwlagn: remove calibration knowledge
The init microcode knows very well which calibrations
are required and sends us results for those that are.
Consequently, we can just send all of those to the RT
uCode again.

The problem with having the driver know about this is
that it is a uCode feature, not a hardware feature so
the config is completely unsuitable.

The only thing we need to check is whether the device
needs crystal calibration or not, add a new parameter
to the configuration for that.

This makes new uCode work on 6000 series devices.
