Victor Kamensky 971a5b6fe6 arm64: compat: fix compat types affecting struct compat_elf_prpsinfo
The compat_elf_prpsinfo structure does not match the arch/arm struct
elf_pspsinfo definition. As result NT_PRPSINFO note in core file
created by arm64 kernel for aarch32 (compat) process has wrong size.
So gdb cannot display command that caused process crash.

Fix is to change size of __compat_uid_t, __compat_gid_t so it would
match size of similar fields in arch/arm case.

AKASHI Takahiro fd92d4a54a arm64: is_compat_task is defined both in asm/compat.h and linux/compat.h
Some kernel files may include both linux/compat.h and asm/compat.h directly
or indirectly. Since both header files contain is_compat_task() under
!CONFIG_COMPAT, compiling them with !CONFIG_COMPAT will eventually fail.
Such files include kernel/auditsc.c, kernel/seccomp.c and init/do_mountfs.c
(do_mountfs.c may read asm/compat.h via asm/ftrace.h once ftrace is
implemented).

So this patch proactively
1) removes is_compat_task() under !CONFIG_COMPAT from asm/compat.h
2) replaces asm/compat.h to linux/compat.h in kernel/*.c,
but asm/compat.h is still necessary in ptrace.c and process.c because
   they use is_compat_thread().

Jean Pihet 5f888a1d33 ARM64: perf: support dwarf unwinding in compat mode
Add support for unwinding using the dwarf information in compat
mode. Using the correct user stack pointer allows perf to record
the frames correctly in the native and compat modes.

Note that although the dwarf frame unwinding works ok using
libunwind in native mode (on ARMv7 & ARMv8), some changes are
required to the libunwind code for the compat mode. Those changes
are posted separately on the libunwind mailing list.

Tested on ARMv8 platform with v8 and compat v7 binaries, the latter
are statically built.

Catalin Marinas f15a2a12d0 arm64: Fix compat types affecting struct compat_stat
The compat_stat structure doesn't match the arch/arm/ struct stat
definition. This patch fixes the compat types and struct compat_stat
definition accordingly.

Catalin Marinas 7ae42c96cf arm64: Include linux/ptrace.h in asm/compat.h
Commit 9b064fc3f9 (new helper:
compat_user_stack_pointer()) introduces a call to current_pt_regs()
which is defined in linux/ptrace.h, not currently included asm/compat.h.

Al Viro 9b064fc3f9 new helper: compat_user_stack_pointer()
Compat counterpart of current_user_stack_pointer(); for most of the biarch
architectures those two are identical, but e.g. arm64 and arm use different
registers for stack pointer...

Note that amd64 variants of current_user_stack_pointer/compat_user_stack_pointer
do *not* rely on pt_regs having been through FIXUP_TOP_OF_STACK.

Denys Vlasenko 751f409db6 compat: move compat_siginfo_t definition to asm/compat.h
This is a preparatory patch for the introduction of NT_SIGINFO elf note.

Make the location of compat_siginfo_t uniform across eight architectures
which have it. Now it can be pulled in by including asm/compat.h or
linux/compat.h.

Most of the copies are verbatim. compat_uid[32]_t had to be replaced by
__compat_uid[32]_t. compat_uptr_t had to be moved up before
compat_siginfo_t in asm/compat.h on a several architectures (tile already
had it moved up). compat_sigval_t had to be relocated from linux/compat.h
to asm/compat.h.

Will Deacon 3dd681d944 arm64: 32-bit (compat) applications support
This patch adds support for 32-bit applications. The vectors page is a
binary blob mapped into the application user space at 0xffff0000 (the
AArch64 toolchain does not support compilation of AArch32 code). Full
compatibility with ARMv7 user space is supported. The use of deprecated
ARMv7 functionality (SWP, CP15 barriers) has been disabled by default on
AArch64 kernels and unaligned LDM/STM is not supported.

Please note that only the ARM 32-bit EABI is supported, so no OABI
compatibility.
