Drop some unnecessary termios-flag debugging that have been faithfully
reproduced in a few old drivers, including the "clfag" typo and all.
This also addresses a compiler warning on sparc where tcflag_t is
unsigned long and would have required an explicit cast.

Clean up the endpoint sanity check by letting core verify the single
interrupt endpoint, and verifying the bulk endpoints in calc_num_ports
after having determined the number of ports.
Note that the static type num_ports field was neither correct or used
(since calc_num_ports never returns zero).

Allow subdrivers to modify the port-endpoint mapping by passing the
endpoint descriptors to calc_num_ports.
The callback can now also be used to verify that the required endpoints
exists and abort probing otherwise.
This will allow us to get rid of a few hacks in subdrivers that are
already modifying the port-endpoint mapping (or aborting probe due to
missing endpoints), but only after the port structures have been setup.

Fix another NULL-pointer dereference at open should a malicious device
lack an interrupt-in endpoint.
Note that the driver has a broken check for an interrupt-in endpoint
which means that an interrupt URB has never even been submitted.

There is old, unused code that is #defined out by the use of NOTMOS7840
and NOTMCS7840 - these are not defined anywhere.
If NOTMOS7840 is defined then the code will break on null pointer
dereferences on mos7840_port. So the code is currently unused, and
broken anyway, so why not just remove it.

None of these files are actually using any __init type directives

Fix race in LED handling introduced by commit 0eafe4de ("USB: serial:
mos7840: add support for MCS7810 devices") which reused the port control
urb for manipulating the LED without making sure that the urb is not
already in use. This could lead to the control urb being manipulated
while in flight.
Fix by adding a dedicated LED urb and ctrlrequest along with a LED-busy
flag to handle concurrency.

Remove broken "chase" implementation which was supposed to be used to
drain the write buffers at break.
The chase implementation slept on a wait queue which was never woken up
(i.e. no hardware buffers were queried), and thus amounted to nothing
more than polling chars_in_buffer, something which has already been
taken care of by the tty layer.

This moves the allocation of minor device numbers from a static array to
be dynamic, using the idr interface. This means that you could
potentially get "gaps" in a minor number range for a single USB serial
device with multiple ports, but all should still work properly.
We remove the 'minor' field from the usb_serial structure, as it no
longer makes any sense for it (use the field in the usb_serial_port
structure if you really want to know this number), and take the fact
that we were overloading a number in this field to determine if we had
initialized the minor numbers or not, and just use a flag variable
instead.
Note, we still have the limitation of 255 USB to serial devices in the
system, as that is all we are registering with the TTY layer at this
point in time.

The usb_serial_port structure had the number field, which was the minor
number for the port, which almost no one really cared about. They
really wanted the number of the port within the device, which you had to
subtract from the minor of the parent usb_serial_device structure. To
clean this up, provide the real minor number of the port, and the number
of the port within the serial device separately, as these numbers might
not be related in the future.
Bonus is that this cleans up a lot of logic in the drivers, and saves
lines overall.

Remove bogus (and unnecessary) test for serial->dev being NULL in close.
The device is never cleared, and close is never called after a completed
disconnect anyway.
Simplify urb killing, and remove some related debug and dead code while
at it.

Use the port wait queue and make sure to check the serial disconnected
flag before accessing private port data after waking up.
This is is needed as the private port data (including the wait queue
itself) can be gone when waking up after a disconnect.

It allows for cleaning up on a considerable amount of places. They did
port_get, wakeup, kref_put. Now the only thing needed is to call
tty_port_tty_wakeup which does exactly that.
One exception is ifx6x60 where tty_wakeup was open-coded. We now call
tty_wakeup properly there.

Now, we start converting tty buffer functions to actually use
tty_port. This will allow us to get rid of the need of tty in many
call sites. Only tty_port will needed and hence no more
tty_port_tty_get in those paths.
Now, the one where most of tty_port_tty_get gets removed:
tty_flip_buffer_push.
IOW we also closed all the races in drivers not using tty_port_tty_get
at all yet.
Also we move tty_flip_buffer_push declaration from include/linux/tty.h
to include/linux/tty_flip.h to all others while we are changing it
anyway.
