Steffen Trumtrar d293b640eb crypto: mxc-scc - add basic driver for the MXC SCC
According to the Freescale GPL driver code, there are two different
Security Controller (SCC) versions: SCC and SCC2.

The SCC is found on older i.MX SoCs, e.g. the i.MX25. This is the
version implemented and tested here.

As there is no publicly available documentation for this IP core,
all information about this unit is gathered from the GPL'ed driver

Arnd Bergmann 56b85c9d7a crypto: atmel: fix bogus select
The Atmel at91 crypto driver unconditionally selects AT_HDMAC,
which results in a Kconfig warning if that driver is not enabled:

warning: (CRYPTO_DEV_ATMEL_AES) selects AT_HDMAC which has unmet direct dependencies (DMADEVICES && ARCH_AT91)

The crypto driver itself does not actually have a dependency
on a particular dma engine, other than this being the one that
is used in at91.

Removing the 'select' gets rid of the warning, but can cause
the driver to be unusable if the HDMAC is not enabled at the
same time. To work around that, this patch clarifies the runtime
dependency to be 'AT_HDMAC || AT_XDMAC', but adds an alternative
for COMPILE_TEST, which lets the driver get build on all systems.

The ARCH_AT91 dependency is implied by AT_XDMAC || AT_HDMAC now
and no longer needs to be listed separately.

Arnd Bergmann dc97fa0232 crypto: mxs-dcp - mxs-dcp is an stmp device
The mxs-dcp driver relies on the stmp_reset_block() helper function, which
is provided by CONFIG_STMP_DEVICE. This symbol is always set on MXS,
but the driver can now also be built for MXC (i.MX6), which results
in a built error if no other driver selects STMP_DEVICE:

Boris BREZILLON db509a4533 crypto: marvell/cesa - add TDMA support
The CESA IP supports CPU offload through a dedicated DMA engine (TDMA)
which can control the crypto block.
When you use this mode, all the required data (operation metadata and
payload data) are transferred using DMA, and the results are retrieved
through DMA when possible (hash results are not retrieved through DMA yet),
thus reducing the involvement of the CPU and providing better performances
in most cases (for small requests, the cost of DMA preparation might
exceed the performance gain).

Note that some CESA IPs do not embed this dedicated DMA, hence the
activation of this feature on a per platform basis.

Boris BREZILLON f63601fd61 crypto: marvell/cesa - add a new driver for Marvell's CESA
The existing mv_cesa driver supports some features of the CESA IP but is
quite limited, and reworking it to support new features (like involving the
TDMA engine to offload the CPU) is almost impossible.
This driver has been rewritten from scratch to take those new features into
account.

This commit introduce the base infrastructure allowing us to add support
for DMA optimization.
It also includes support for one hash (SHA1) and one cipher (AES)
algorithm, and enable those features on the Armada 370 SoC.

Other algorithms and platforms will be added later on.

Boris BREZILLON 51b44fc811 crypto: mv_cesa - use gen_pool to reserve the SRAM memory region
The mv_cesa driver currently expects the SRAM memory region to be passed
as a platform device resource.

This approach implies two drawbacks:
- the DT representation is wrong
- the only one that can access the SRAM is the crypto engine

The last point is particularly annoying in some cases: for example on
armada 370, a small region of the crypto SRAM is used to implement the
cpuidle, which means you would not be able to enable both cpuidle and the
CESA driver.

To address that problem, we explicitly define the SRAM device in the DT
and then reference the sram node from the crypto engine node.

Also note that the old way of retrieving the SRAM memory region is still
supported, or in other words, backward compatibility is preserved.

2) The driver was apparently never ran behind anyone working with MXS. ie.:
-> Restarting the DCP block is not done via mxs_reset_block()
-> The DT name is not "fsl, dcp" or "fsl,mxs-dcp" as other MXS drivers
3) Introduces new ad-hoc IOCTLs
4) The IRQ handler can't use usual completion() in the driver because that'd
trigger "scheduling while atomic" oops, yes?

Tobias Rauter 519d8b1a9d crypto: dcp - Added support for Freescale's DCP co-processor
This patch enables the DCP crypto functionality on imx28.
Currently, only aes-128-cbc is supported.
Moreover, the dcpboot misc-device, which is used by Freescale's
SDK tools and uses a non-software-readable OTP-key, is added.

Changes of v2:
- ring buffer for hardware-descriptors
- use of ablkcipher walk
- OTP key encryption/decryption via misc-device
  (compatible to Freescale-SDK)
- overall cleanup

The DCP is also capable of sha1/sha256 but I won't be able to add
that anytime soon.

Kim Phillips 8e8ec596e6 crypto: caam - Add support for the Freescale SEC4/CAAM
The SEC4 supercedes the SEC2.x/3.x as Freescale's
Integrated Security Engine. Its programming model is
incompatible with all prior versions of the SEC (talitos).

The SEC4 is also known as the Cryptographic Accelerator
and Assurance Module (CAAM); this driver is named caam.

This initial submission does not include support for Data Path
mode operation - AEAD descriptors are submitted via the job
ring interface, while the Queue Interface (QI) is enabled
for use by others. Only AEAD algorithms are implemented
at this time, for use with IPsec.

Many thanks to the Freescale STC team for their contributions

Herbert Xu bbbee4679a crypto: padlock - Switch sha to shash
This patch converts the padlock-sha implementation to shash.
In doing so the existing mechanism of storing the data until
final is no longer viable as we do not have a way of allocating
data in crypto_shash_init and then reliably freeing it.

This is just as well because a better way of handling the problem
is to hash everything but the last chunk using normal sha code
and then provide the intermediate result to the padlock device.

This is good enough because the primary application of padlock-sha
is IPsec and there the data is laid out in the form of an hmac
header followed by the rest of the packet. In essence we can
provide all the data to the padlock as the hmac header only needs
to be hashed once.

delineated. As a bonus the low-level API can now be modularised if all
algorithms are built as modules.

Brian Gerst 0d078f6f96 [PATCH] CONFIG_IA32
Add CONFIG_X86_32 for i386. This allows selecting options that only apply
to 32-bit systems.

(X86 && !X86_64) becomes X86_32
(X86 ||  X86_64) becomes X86

Linus Torvalds 1da177e4c3 Linux-2.6.12-rc2
Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history,
even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git
archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about
3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early
git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good
infrastructure for it.

Let it rip!
