Xin Long e7f2824891 sctp: add SCTP_CURRENT_ASSOC for SCTP_STREAM_SCHEDULER_VALUE sockopt
SCTP_STREAM_SCHEDULER_VALUE is a special one, as its value is not
save in sctp_sock, but only in asoc. So only SCTP_CURRENT_ASSOC
reserved assoc_id can be used in sctp_setsockopt_scheduler_value.

This patch adds SCTP_CURRENT_ASOC support for
SCTP_STREAM_SCHEDULER_VALUE.

Xin Long 80df2704a3 sctp: introduce SCTP_FUTURE/CURRENT/ALL_ASSOC
This patch is to add 3 constants SCTP_FUTURE_ASSOC,
SCTP_CURRENT_ASSOC and SCTP_ALL_ASSOC for reserved
assoc_ids, as defined in rfc6458#section-7.2.

And add the process for them when doing lookup and
inserting in sctp_id2assoc and sctp_assoc_set_id.

Xin Long ecf938fe7d sctp: set flow sport from saddr only when it's 0
Now sctp_transport_pmtu() passes transport->saddr into .get_dst() to set
flow sport from 'saddr'. However, transport->saddr is set only when
transport->dst exists in sctp_transport_route().

If sctp_transport_pmtu() is called without transport->saddr set, like
when transport->dst doesn't exists, the flow sport will be set to 0
from transport->saddr, which will cause a wrong route to be got.

Commit 6e91b578bf ("sctp: re-use sctp_transport_pmtu in
sctp_transport_route") made the issue be triggered more easily
since sctp_transport_pmtu() would be called in sctp_transport_route()
after that.

In gerneral, fl4->fl4_sport should always be set to
htons(asoc->base.bind_addr.port), unless transport->asoc doesn't exist
in sctp_v4/6_get_dst(), which is the case:

  sctp_ootb_pkt_new() ->
    sctp_transport_route()

For that, we can simply handle it by setting flow sport from saddr only
when it's 0 in sctp_v4/6_get_dst().

Xin Long 4ff40b8626 sctp: set chunk transport correctly when it's a new asoc
In the paths:

  sctp_sf_do_unexpected_init() ->
    sctp_make_init_ack()
  sctp_sf_do_dupcook_a/b()() ->
    sctp_sf_do_5_1D_ce()

The new chunk 'retval' transport is set from the incoming chunk 'chunk'
transport. However, 'retval' transport belong to the new asoc, which
is a different one from 'chunk' transport's asoc.

It will cause that the 'retval' chunk gets set with a wrong transport.
Later when sending it and because of Commit b9fd683982 ("sctp: add
sctp_packet_singleton"), sctp_packet_singleton() will set some fields,
like vtag to 'retval' chunk from that wrong transport's asoc.

This patch is to fix it by setting 'retval' transport correctly which
belongs to the right asoc in sctp_make_init_ack() and
sctp_sf_do_5_1D_ce().

Xin Long 8220c870cb sctp: improve the events for sctp stream adding
This patch is to improve sctp stream adding events in 2 places:

  1. In sctp_process_strreset_addstrm_out(), move up SCTP_MAX_STREAM
     and in stream allocation failure checks, as the adding has to
     succeed after reconf_timer stops for the in stream adding
     request retransmission.

  3. In sctp_process_strreset_addstrm_in(), no event should be sent,
     as no in or out stream is added here.

Xin Long 2e6dc4d951 sctp: improve the events for sctp stream reset
This patch is to improve sctp stream reset events in 4 places:

  1. In sctp_process_strreset_outreq(), the flag should always be set with
     SCTP_STREAM_RESET_INCOMING_SSN instead of OUTGOING, as receiver's in
     stream is reset here.
  2. In sctp_process_strreset_outreq(), move up SCTP_STRRESET_ERR_WRONG_SSN
     check, as the reset has to succeed after reconf_timer stops for the
     in stream reset request retransmission.
  3. In sctp_process_strreset_inreq(), no event should be sent, as no in
     or out stream is reset here.
  4. In sctp_process_strreset_resp(), SCTP_STREAM_RESET_INCOMING_SSN or
     OUTGOING event should always be sent for stream reset requests, no
     matter it fails or succeeds to process the request.

Xin Long 400b8b9a2a sctp: allocate sctp_sockaddr_entry with kzalloc
The similar issue as fixed in Commit 4a2eb0c37b ("sctp: initialize
sin6_flowinfo for ipv6 addrs in sctp_inet6addr_event") also exists
in sctp_inetaddr_event, as Alexander noticed.

To fix it, allocate sctp_sockaddr_entry with kzalloc for both sctp
ipv4 and ipv6 addresses, as does in sctp_v4/6_copy_addrlist().

Main motivation was that managed_page_count_lock handling was complicating
things.  It was discussed in length here,

better to remove the lock and convert variables to atomic, with preventing
poteintial store-to-read tearing as a bonus.

Arun KS 3d6357de8a mm: reference totalram_pages and managed_pages once per function
Patch series "mm: convert totalram_pages, totalhigh_pages and managed
pages to atomic", v5.

This series converts totalram_pages, totalhigh_pages and
zone->managed_pages to atomic variables.

totalram_pages, zone->managed_pages and totalhigh_pages updates are
protected by managed_page_count_lock, but readers never care about it.
Convert these variables to atomic to avoid readers potentially seeing a
store tear.

Main motivation was that managed_page_count_lock handling was complicating
things.  It was discussed in length here,

to remove the lock and convert variables to atomic.  With the change,
preventing poteintial store-to-read tearing comes as a bonus.

This patch (of 4):

This is in preparation to a later patch which converts totalram_pages and
zone->managed_pages to atomic variables.  Please note that re-reading the
value might lead to a different value and as such it could lead to
unexpected behavior.  There are no known bugs as a result of the current
code but it is better to prevent from them in principle.

sin6_flowinfo is not really used by SCTP, so it will be fixed by simply

Several conflicts, seemingly all over the place.

I used Stephen Rothwell's sample resolutions for many of these, if not
just to double check my own work, so definitely the credit largely
goes to him.

The NFP conflict consisted of a bug fix (moving operations
past the rhashtable operation) while chaning the initial
argument in the function call in the moved code.

The net/dsa/master.c conflict had to do with a bug fix intermixing of
making dsa_master_set_mtu() static with the fixing of the tagging
attribute location.

cls_flower had a conflict because the dup reject fix from Or
overlapped with the addition of port range classifiction.

__set_phy_supported()'s conflict was relatively easy to resolve
because Andrew fixed it in both trees, so it was just a matter
of taking the net-next copy.  Or at least I think it was :-)

Joe Stringer's fix to the handling of netns id 0 in bpf_sk_lookup()
intermixed with changes on how the sdif and caller_net are calculated
in these code paths in net-next.

The remaining BPF conflicts were largely about the addition of the
__bpf_md_ptr stuff in 'net' overlapping with adjustments and additions
to the relevant data structure where the MD pointer macros are used.

Jakub Audykowicz afd0a8006e sctp: frag_point sanity check
If for some reason an association's fragmentation point is zero,
sctp_datamsg_from_user will try to endlessly try to divide a message
into zero-sized chunks. This eventually causes kernel panic due to
running out of memory.

Although this situation is quite unlikely, it has occurred before as
reported. I propose to add this simple last-ditch sanity check due to
the severity of the potential consequences.

Xin Long fb6df5a623 sctp: kfree_rcu asoc
In sctp_hash_transport/sctp_epaddr_lookup_transport, it dereferences
a transport's asoc under rcu_read_lock while asoc is freed not after
a grace period, which leads to a use-after-free panic.

This patch fixes it by calling kfree_rcu to make asoc be freed after
a grace period.

Note that only the asoc's memory is delayed to free in the patch, it
won't cause sk to linger longer.

Xin Long 4135cce7fd sctp: update frag_point when stream_interleave is set
sctp_assoc_update_frag_point() should be called whenever asoc->pathmtu
changes, but we missed one place in sctp_association_init(). It would
cause frag_point is zero when sending data.

As says in Jakub's reproducer, if sp->pathmtu is set by socketopt, the
new asoc->pathmtu inherits it in sctp_association_init(). Later when
transports are added and their pmtu >= asoc->pathmtu, it will never
call sctp_assoc_update_frag_point() to set frag_point.

This patch is to fix it by updating frag_point after asoc->pathmtu is
set as sp->pathmtu in sctp_association_init(). Note that it moved them
after sctp_stream_init(), as stream->si needs to be set first.

Frag_point's calculation is also related with datachunk's type, so it
needs to update frag_point when stream->si may be changed in
sctp_process_init().

Xin Long 0d32f17717 sctp: increase sk_wmem_alloc when head->truesize is increased
I changed to count sk_wmem_alloc by skb truesize instead of 1 to
fix the sk_wmem_alloc leak caused by later truesize's change in
xfrm in Commit 02968ccf01 ("sctp: count sk_wmem_alloc by skb
truesize in sctp_packet_transmit").

But I should have also increased sk_wmem_alloc when head->truesize
is increased in sctp_packet_gso_append() as xfrm does. Otherwise,
sctp gso packet will cause sk_wmem_alloc underflow.

Xin Long e1e4647984 sctp: not increase stream's incnt before sending addstrm_in request
Different from processing the addstrm_out request, The receiver handles
an addstrm_in request by sending back an addstrm_out request to the
sender who will increase its stream's in and incnt later.

Now stream->incnt has been increased since it sent out the addstrm_in
request in sctp_send_add_streams(), with the wrong stream->incnt will
even cause crash when copying stream info from the old stream's in to
the new one's in sctp_process_strreset_addstrm_out().

This patch is to fix it by simply removing the stream->incnt change
from sctp_send_add_streams().

Xin Long cc3ccf26f0 sctp: not allow to set asoc prsctp_enable by sockopt
As rfc7496#section4.5 says about SCTP_PR_SUPPORTED:

   This socket option allows the enabling or disabling of the
   negotiation of PR-SCTP support for future associations.  For existing
   associations, it allows one to query whether or not PR-SCTP support
   was negotiated on a particular association.

It means only sctp sock's prsctp_enable can be set.

Note that for the limitation of SCTP_{CURRENT|ALL}_ASSOC, we will
add it when introducing SCTP_{FUTURE|CURRENT|ALL}_ASSOC for linux
sctp in another patchset.

Xin Long 02968ccf01 sctp: count sk_wmem_alloc by skb truesize in sctp_packet_transmit
Now sctp increases sk_wmem_alloc by 1 when doing set_owner_w for the
skb allocked in sctp_packet_transmit and decreases by 1 when freeing
this skb.

But when this skb goes through networking stack, some subcomponents
might change skb->truesize and add the same amount on sk_wmem_alloc.
However sctp doesn't know the amount to decrease by, it would cause
a leak on sk->sk_wmem_alloc and the sock can never be freed.

Xiumei found this issue when it hit esp_output_head() by using sctp
over ipsec, where skb->truesize is added and so is sk->sk_wmem_alloc.

Since sctp has used sk_wmem_queued to count for writable space since
Commit cd305c74b0 ("sctp: use sk_wmem_queued to check for writable
space"), it's ok to fix it by counting sk_wmem_alloc by skb truesize
in sctp_packet_transmit.

Xin Long 2cc0eeb676 sctp: define subscribe in sctp_sock as __u16
The member subscribe in sctp_sock is used to indicate to which of
the events it is subscribed, more like a group of flags. So it's
better to be defined as __u16 (2 bytpes), instead of struct
sctp_event_subscribe (13 bytes).

Note that sctp_event_subscribe is an UAPI struct, used on sockopt
calls, and thus it will not be removed. This patch only changes
the internal storage of the flags.

Xin Long 76c6d988ae sctp: add sock_reuseport for the sock in __sctp_hash_endpoint
This is a part of sk_reuseport support for sctp. It defines a helper
sctp_bind_addrs_check() to check if the bind_addrs in two socks are
matched. It will add sock_reuseport if they are completely matched,
and return err if they are partly matched, and alloc sock_reuseport
if all socks are not matched at all.

It will work until sk_reuseport support is added in
sctp_get_port_local() in the next patch.

Stefano Brivio 32bbd8793f net: Convert protocol error handlers from void to int
We'll need this to handle ICMP errors for tunnels without a sending socket
(i.e. FoU and GUE). There, we might have to look up different types of IP
tunnels, registered as network protocols, before we get a match, so we
want this for the error handlers of IPPROTO_IPIP and IPPROTO_IPV6 in both
inet_protos and inet6_protos. These error codes will be used in the next
patch.

For consistency, return sensible error codes in protocol error handlers
whenever handlers can't handle errors because, even if valid, they don't
match a protocol or any of its states.

This has no effect on existing error handling paths.

Xin Long 7133583693 sctp: check policy more carefully when getting pr status
When getting pr_assocstatus and pr_streamstatus by sctp_getsockopt,
it doesn't correctly process the case when policy is set with
SCTP_PR_SCTP_ALL | SCTP_PR_SCTP_MASK. It even causes a
slab-out-of-bounds in sctp_getsockopt_pr_streamstatus().

This patch fixes it by return -EINVAL for this case.

Xin Long df132eff46 sctp: clear the transport of some out_chunk_list chunks in sctp_assoc_rm_peer
If a transport is removed by asconf but there still are some chunks with
this transport queuing on out_chunk_list, later an use-after-free issue
will be caused when accessing this transport from these chunks in
sctp_outq_flush().

This is an old bug, we fix it by clearing the transport of these chunks
in out_chunk_list when removing a transport in sctp_assoc_rm_peer().

Xin Long cd305c74b0 sctp: use sk_wmem_queued to check for writable space
sk->sk_wmem_queued is used to count the size of chunks in out queue
while sk->sk_wmem_alloc is for counting the size of chunks has been
sent. sctp is increasing both of them before enqueuing the chunks,
and using sk->sk_wmem_alloc to check for writable space.

However, sk_wmem_alloc is also increased by 1 for the skb allocked
for sending in sctp_packet_transmit() but it will not wake up the
waiters when sk_wmem_alloc is decreased in this skb's destructor.

If msg size is equal to sk_sndbuf and sendmsg is waiting for sndbuf,
the check 'msg_len <= sctp_wspace(asoc)' in sctp_wait_for_sndbuf()
will keep waiting if there's a skb allocked in sctp_packet_transmit,
and later even if this skb got freed, the waiting thread will never
get waked up.

This issue has been there since very beginning, so we change to use
sk->sk_wmem_queued to check for writable space as sk_wmem_queued is
not increased for the skb allocked for sending, also as TCP does.

SOCK_SNDBUF_LOCK check is also removed here as it's for tx buf auto
tuning which I will add in another patch.

Xin Long 605c0ac182 sctp: count both sk and asoc sndbuf with skb truesize and sctp_chunk size
Now it's confusing that asoc sndbuf_used is doing memory accounting with
SCTP_DATA_SNDSIZE(chunk) + sizeof(sk_buff) + sizeof(sctp_chunk) while sk
sk_wmem_alloc is doing that with skb->truesize + sizeof(sctp_chunk).

It also causes sctp_prsctp_prune to count with a wrong freed memory when
sndbuf_policy is not set.

To make this right and also keep consistent between asoc sndbuf_used, sk
sk_wmem_alloc and sk_wmem_queued, use skb->truesize + sizeof(sctp_chunk)
for them.

This is a similar issue with the one fixed in Commit ca3af4dd28
("sctp: do not free asoc when it is already dead in sctp_sendmsg").
But this one can't be fixed by returning -ESRCH for the dead asoc
in sctp_wait_for_connect, as it will break sctp_connect's return
value to users.

This patch is to simply set err to -ESRCH before it returns to
sctp_sendmsg when any err is returned by sctp_wait_for_connect
for sp->strm_interleave, so that no asoc would be freed due to
this.

When users see this error, they will know the packet hasn't been
sent. And it also makes sense to not free asoc because waiting
connect fails, like the second call for sctp_wait_for_connect in
sctp_sendmsg_to_asoc.

syzbot reported an use-after-free involving sctp_id2asoc.  Dmitry Vyukov
helped to root cause it and it is because of reading the asoc after it
was freed:

This can only be hit if trying to fetch asocs from different sockets. As
we have a single IDR for all asocs, in all SCTP sockets, their id is
unique on the system. An application can try to send stuff on an id
that matches on another socket, and the if in [*] will protect from such
usage. But it didn't consider that as that asoc may belong to another
socket, it may be freed in parallel (read: under another socket lock).

We fix it by moving the checks in [*] into the protected region. This
fixes it because the asoc cannot be freed while the lock is held.

According to rfc7496 section 4.3 or 4.4:

   sprstat_policy:  This parameter indicates for which PR-SCTP policy
      the user wants the information.  It is an error to use
      SCTP_PR_SCTP_NONE in sprstat_policy.  If SCTP_PR_SCTP_ALL is used,
      the counters provided are aggregated over all supported policies.

We change to dump pr_assoc and pr_stream all status by SCTP_PR_SCTP_ALL
instead, and return error for SCTP_PR_SCTP_NONE, as it also said "It is
an error to use SCTP_PR_SCTP_NONE in sprstat_policy. "

Xin Long d805397c38 sctp: use the pmtu from the icmp packet to update transport pathmtu
Other than asoc pmtu sync from all transports, sctp_assoc_sync_pmtu
is also processing transport pmtu_pending by icmp packets. But it's
meaningless to use sctp_dst_mtu(t->dst) as new pmtu for a transport.

The right pmtu value should come from the icmp packet, and it would
be saved into transport->mtu_info in this patch and used later when
the pmtu sync happens in sctp_sendmsg_to_asoc or sctp_packet_config.

Besides, without this patch, as pmtu can only be updated correctly
when receiving a icmp packet and no place is holding sock lock, it
will take long time if the sock is busy with sending packets.

Note that it doesn't process transport->mtu_info in .release_cb(),
as there is no enough information for pmtu update, like for which
asoc or transport. It is not worth traversing all asocs to check
pmtu_pending. So unlike tcp, sctp does this in tx path, for which
mtu_info needs to be atomic_t.

Xin Long d7ab5cdce5 sctp: update dst pmtu with the correct daddr
When processing pmtu update from an icmp packet, it calls .update_pmtu
with sk instead of skb in sctp_transport_update_pmtu.

However for sctp, the daddr in the transport might be different from
inet_sock->inet_daddr or sk->sk_v6_daddr, which is used to update or
create the route cache. The incorrect daddr will cause a different
route cache created for the path.

So before calling .update_pmtu, inet_sock->inet_daddr/sk->sk_v6_daddr
should be updated with the daddr in the transport, and update it back
after it's done.

The issue has existed since route exceptions introduction.

Xin Long af8a2b8ba7 sctp: fix invalid reference to the index variable of the iterator
Now in sctp_apply_peer_addr_params(), if SPP_IPV6_FLOWLABEL flag is set
and trans is NULL, it would use trans as the index variable to traverse
transport_addr_list, then trans is set as the last transport of it.

Later, if SPP_DSCP flag is set, it would enter into the wrong branch as
trans is actually an invalid reference.

So fix it by using a new index variable to traverse transport_addr_list
for both SPP_DSCP and SPP_IPV6_FLOWLABEL flags process.

Xin Long bab1be79a5 sctp: hold transport before accessing its asoc in sctp_transport_get_next
As Marcelo noticed, in sctp_transport_get_next, it is iterating over
transports but then also accessing the association directly, without
checking any refcnts before that, which can cause an use-after-free
Read.

So fix it by holding transport before accessing the association. With
that, sctp_transport_hold calls can be removed in the later places.

Xin Long a659254755 sctp: fix the issue that pathmtu may be set lower than MINSEGMENT
After commit b6c5734db0 ("sctp: fix the handling of ICMP Frag Needed
for too small MTUs"), sctp_transport_update_pmtu would refetch pathmtu
from the dst and set it to transport's pathmtu without any check.

The new pathmtu may be lower than MINSEGMENT if the dst is obsolete and
updated by .get_dst() in sctp_transport_update_pmtu. In this case, it
could have a smaller MTU as well, and thus we should validate it
against MINSEGMENT instead.

Syzbot reported a warning in sctp_mtu_payload caused by this.

This patch refetches the pathmtu by calling sctp_dst_mtu where it does
the check against MINSEGMENT.

Struct sockaddr_in6 has the member sin6_flowinfo that includes the
ipv6 flowlabel, it should also support for setting flowlabel when
adding a transport whose ipaddr is from userspace.

Note that addrinfo in sctp_sendmsg is using struct in6_addr for
the secondary addrs, which doesn't contain sin6_flowinfo, and
it needs to copy sin6_flowinfo from the primary addr.

Xin Long 0b0dce7a36 sctp: add spp_ipv6_flowlabel and spp_dscp for sctp_paddrparams
spp_ipv6_flowlabel and spp_dscp are added in sctp_paddrparams in
this patch so that users could set sctp_sock/asoc/transport dscp
and flowlabel with spp_flags SPP_IPV6_FLOWLABEL or SPP_DSCP by
SCTP_PEER_ADDR_PARAMS , as described section 8.1.12 in RFC6458.

As said in last patch, it uses '| 0x100000' or '|0x1' to mark
flowlabel or dscp is set,  so that their values could be set
to 0.

Note that to guarantee that an old app built with old kernel
headers could work on the newer kernel, the param's check in
sctp_g/setsockopt_peer_addr_params() is also improved, which
follows the way that sctp_g/setsockopt_delayed_ack() or some
other sockopts' process that accept two types of params does.

Xin Long 8a9c58d28d sctp: add support for dscp and flowlabel per transport
Like some other per transport params, flowlabel and dscp are added
in transport, asoc and sctp_sock. By default, transport sets its
value from asoc's, and asoc does it from sctp_sock. flowlabel
only works for ipv6 transport.

Other than that they need to be passed down in sctp_xmit, flow4/6
also needs to set them before looking up route in get_dst.

Note that it uses '& 0x100000' to check if flowlabel is set and
'& 0x1' (tos 1st bit is unused) to check if dscp is set by users,
so that they could be set to 0 by sockopt in next patch.

Xin Long b0e9a2fe3f sctp: add support for SCTP_REUSE_PORT sockopt
This feature is actually already supported by sk->sk_reuse which can be
set by socket level opt SO_REUSEADDR. But it's not working exactly as
RFC6458 demands in section 8.1.27, like:

  - This option only supports one-to-one style SCTP sockets
  - This socket option must not be used after calling bind()
    or sctp_bindx().

Besides, SCTP_REUSE_PORT sockopt should be provided for user's programs.
Otherwise, the programs with SCTP_REUSE_PORT from other systems will not
work in linux.

To separate it from the socket level version, this patch adds 'reuse' in
sctp_sock and it works pretty much as sk->sk_reuse, but with some extra
setup limitations that are needed when it is being enabled.

"It should be noted that the behavior of the socket-level socket option
to reuse ports and/or addresses for SCTP sockets is unspecified", so it
leaves SO_REUSEADDR as is for the compatibility.

Note that the name SCTP_REUSE_PORT is somewhat confusing, as its
functionality is nearly identical to SO_REUSEADDR, but with some
extra restrictions. Here it uses 'reuse' in sctp_sock instead of
'reuseport'. As for sk->sk_reuseport support for SCTP, it will be
added in another patch.

Linus Torvalds a11e1d432b Revert changes to convert to ->poll_mask() and aio IOCB_CMD_POLL
The poll() changes were not well thought out, and completely
unexplained.  They also caused a huge performance regression, because
"->poll()" was no longer a trivial file operation that just called down
to the underlying file operations, but instead did at least two indirect
calls.

Indirect calls are sadly slow now with the Spectre mitigation, but the
performance problem could at least be largely mitigated by changing the
"->get_poll_head()" operation to just have a per-file-descriptor pointer
to the poll head instead.  That gets rid of one of the new indirections.

But that doesn't fix the new complexity that is completely unwarranted
for the regular case.  The (undocumented) reason for the poll() changes
was some alleged AIO poll race fixing, but we don't make the common case
slower and more complex for some uncommon special case, so this all
really needs way more explanations and most likely a fundamental
redesign.

NeilBrown 0eb71a9da5 rhashtable: split rhashtable.h
Due to the use of rhashtables in net namespaces,
rhashtable.h is included in lots of the kernel,
so a small changes can required a large recompilation.
This makes development painful.

This patch splits out rhashtable-types.h which just includes
the major type declarations, and does not include (non-trivial)
inline code.  rhashtable.h is no longer included by anything
in the include/ directory.
Common include files only include rhashtable-types.h so a large
recompilation is only triggered when that changes.

Xin Long 9951912200 sctp: define sctp_packet_gso_append to build GSO frames
Now sctp GSO uses skb_gro_receive() to append the data into head
skb frag_list. However it actually only needs very few code from
skb_gro_receive(). Besides, NAPI_GRO_CB has to be set while most
of its members are not needed here.

This patch is to add sctp_packet_gso_append() to build GSO frames
instead of skb_gro_receive(), and it would avoid many unnecessary
checks and make the code clearer.

Note that sctp will use page frags instead of frag_list to build
GSO frames in another patch. But it may take time, as sctp's GSO
frames may have different size. skb_segment() can only split it
into the frags with the same size, which would break the border
of sctp chunks.

Kees Cook 6396bb2215 treewide: kzalloc() -> kcalloc()
The kzalloc() function has a 2-factor argument form, kcalloc(). This
patch replaces cases of:

        kzalloc(a * b, gfp)

with:
        kcalloc(a * b, gfp)

as well as handling cases of:

        kzalloc(a * b * c, gfp)

with:

        kzalloc(array3_size(a, b, c), gfp)

as it's slightly less ugly than:

        kzalloc_array(array_size(a, b), c, gfp)

This does, however, attempt to ignore constant size factors like:

        kzalloc(4 * 1024, gfp)

though any constants defined via macros get caught up in the conversion.

Any factors with a sizeof() of "unsigned char", "char", and "u8" were
dropped, since they're redundant.

The Coccinelle script used for this was:

Kees Cook acafe7e302 treewide: Use struct_size() for kmalloc()-family
One of the more common cases of allocation size calculations is finding
the size of a structure that has a zero-sized array at the end, along
with memory for some number of elements for that array. For example:

Instead of leaving these open-coded and prone to type mistakes, we can
now use the new struct_size() helper:

Xin Long 1d88ba1ebb sctp: not allow transport timeout value less than HZ/5 for hb_timer
syzbot reported a rcu_sched self-detected stall on CPU which is caused
by too small value set on rto_min with SCTP_RTOINFO sockopt. With this
value, hb_timer will get stuck there, as in its timer handler it starts
this timer again with this value, then goes to the timer handler again.

This problem is there since very beginning, and thanks to Eric for the
reproducer shared from a syzbot mail.

This patch fixes it by not allowing sctp_transport_timeout to return a
smaller value than HZ/5 for hb_timer, which is based on TCP's min rto.

Note that it doesn't fix this issue by limiting rto_min, as some users
are still using small rto and no proper value was found for it yet.

Xin Long 644fbdeacf sctp: fix the issue that flags are ignored when using kernel_connect
Now sctp uses inet_dgram_connect as its proto_ops .connect, and the flags
param can't be passed into its proto .connect where this flags is really
needed.

sctp works around it by getting flags from socket file in __sctp_connect.
It works for connecting from userspace, as inherently the user sock has
socket file and it passes f_flags as the flags param into the proto_ops
.connect.

However, the sock created by sock_create_kern doesn't have a socket file,
and it passes the flags (like O_NONBLOCK) by using the flags param in
kernel_connect, which calls proto_ops .connect later.

So to fix it, this patch defines a new proto_ops .connect for sctp,
sctp_inet_connect, which calls __sctp_connect() directly with this
flags param. After this, the sctp's proto .connect can be removed.

Note that sctp_inet_connect doesn't need to do some checks that are not
needed for sctp, which makes thing better than with inet_dgram_connect.

Comment on Nagle is outdated and removed. Nagle is performed earlier, while
checking if the chunk fits the packet: if the outq length is not enough to
fill the packet, it returns SCTP_XMIT_DELAY.

So by when it gets to sctp_outq_flush_transports, it has to go through all
enlisted transports.

One small fix embedded is the reset of one_packet at every iteration.
This allows bundling of some control chunks in case they were preceeded by

Other than this, it has the same behavior.

Xin Long 6910e25de2 sctp: remove sctp_chunk_put from fail_mark err path in sctp_ulpevent_make_rcvmsg
In Commit 1f45f78f8e ("sctp: allow GSO frags to access the chunk too"),
it held the chunk in sctp_ulpevent_make_rcvmsg to access it safely later
in recvmsg. However, it also added sctp_chunk_put in fail_mark err path,
which is only triggered before holding the chunk.

syzbot reported a use-after-free crash happened on this err path, where
it shouldn't call sctp_chunk_put.

This patch simply removes this call.

Xin Long 59d8d4434f sctp: delay the authentication for the duplicated cookie-echo chunk
Now sctp only delays the authentication for the normal cookie-echo
chunk by setting chunk->auth_chunk in sctp_endpoint_bh_rcv(). But
for the duplicated one with auth, in sctp_assoc_bh_rcv(), it does
authentication first based on the old asoc, which will definitely
fail due to the different auth info in the old asoc.

The duplicated cookie-echo chunk will create a new asoc with the
auth info from this chunk, and the authentication should also be
done with the new asoc's auth info for all of the collision 'A',
'B' and 'D'. Otherwise, the duplicated cookie-echo chunk with auth
will never pass the authentication and create the new connection.

This issue exists since very beginning, and this fix is to make
sctp_assoc_bh_rcv() follow the way sctp_endpoint_bh_rcv() does
for the normal cookie-echo chunk to delay the authentication.

While at it, remove the unused params from sctp_sf_authenticate()
and define sctp_auth_chunk_verify() used for all the places that
do the delayed authentication.

Xin Long ce402f044e sctp: fix the issue that the cookie-ack with auth can't get processed
When auth is enabled for cookie-ack chunk, in sctp_inq_pop, sctp
processes auth chunk first, then continues to the next chunk in
this packet if chunk_end + chunk_hdr size < skb_tail_pointer().
Otherwise, it will go to the next packet or discard this chunk.

However, it missed the fact that cookie-ack chunk's size is equal
to chunk_hdr size, which couldn't match that check, and thus this
chunk would not get processed.

This patch fixes it by changing the check to chunk_end + chunk_hdr
size <= skb_tail_pointer().

When processing a duplicate cookie-echo chunk, for case 'D', sctp will
not process the param from this chunk. It means old asoc has nothing
to be updated, and the new temp asoc doesn't have the complete info.

So there's no reason to use the new asoc when creating the cookie-ack
chunk. Otherwise, like when auth is enabled for cookie-ack, the chunk
can not be set with auth, and it will definitely be dropped by peer.

This issue is there since very beginning, and we fix it by using the
old asoc instead.

When processing a duplicate cookie-echo chunk, for case 'A' and 'B',
after sctp_process_init for the new asoc, if auth is enabled for the
cookie-ack chunk, the active key should also be initialized.

Otherwise, the cookie-ack chunk made later can not be set with auth
shkey properly, and a crash can even be caused by this, as after
Commit 1b1e0bc994 ("sctp: add refcnt support for sh_key"), sctp
needs to hold the shkey when making control chunks.

Marcelo Ricardo Leitner 8914f4bace sctp: add sctp_make_op_error_limited and reuse inner functions
The idea is quite similar to the old functions, but note that the _fixed
function wasn't "fixed" as in that it would generate a packet with a fixed
size, but rather limited/bounded to PMTU.

Also, now with sctp_mtu_payload(), we have a more accurate limit.

RFC 6458 Section 8.1.16 says that setting MAXSEG as 0 means that the user
is not limiting it, and not that it should set to the *current* maximum,
as we are doing.

This patch thus allow setting it as 0, effectively removing the user
limit.

sctp_sendmsg() could trigger PMTU updates even when PMTU_DISABLED was
set, as pmtu_pending could be set unconditionally during icmp handling
if the socket was in use by the application.

This patch fixes it by checking for PMTU_DISABLED when handling such
deferred updates.

before calling it, let's just include such release too.

When given a MTU, this function calculates how much payload we can carry
on it. Without a MTU, it calculates the amount of header overhead we
have.

So that when we have extra overhead, like the one added for IP options
on SELinux patches, it is easier to handle it.

Xin Long 6a9a27d539 sctp: clear the new asoc's stream outcnt in sctp_stream_update
When processing a duplicate cookie-echo chunk, sctp moves the new
temp asoc's stream out/in into the old asoc, and later frees this
new temp asoc.

But now after this move, the new temp asoc's stream->outcnt is not
cleared while stream->out is set to NULL, which would cause a same
crash as the one fixed in Commit 79d0895140 ("sctp: fix error
path in sctp_stream_init") when freeing this asoc later.

This fix is to clear this outcnt in sctp_stream_update.

Xin Long d625329b06 sctp: handle two v4 addrs comparison in sctp_inet6_cmp_addr
Since sctp ipv6 socket also supports v4 addrs, it's possible to
compare two v4 addrs in pf v6 .cmp_addr, sctp_inet6_cmp_addr.

However after Commit 1071ec9d45 ("sctp: do not check port in
sctp_inet6_cmp_addr"), it no longer calls af1->cmp_addr, which
in this case is sctp_v4_cmp_addr, but calls __sctp_v6_cmp_addr
where it handles them as two v6 addrs. It would cause a out of
bounds crash.

syzbot found this crash when trying to bind two v4 addrs to a
v6 socket.

This patch fixes it by adding the process for two v4 addrs in
sctp_inet6_cmp_addr.

It's currently written as:

	}

Which causes the SFR-CACC processing on ack reception to never process,
as tchunk->tsn_gap_acked is always true by then. Block [1] was
moved to that position by the commit marked below.

This patch fixes it by doing SFR-CACC processing earlier, before
tsn_gap_acked is set to true.

Xin Long 1071ec9d45 sctp: do not check port in sctp_inet6_cmp_addr
pf->cmp_addr() is called before binding a v6 address to the sock. It
should not check ports, like in sctp_inet_cmp_addr.

But sctp_inet6_cmp_addr checks the addr by invoking af(6)->cmp_addr,
sctp_v6_cmp_addr where it also compares the ports.

This would cause that setsockopt(SCTP_SOCKOPT_BINDX_ADD) could bind
multiple duplicated IPv6 addresses after Commit 40b4f0fd74 ("sctp:
lack the check for ports in sctp_v6_cmp_addr").

This patch is to remove af->cmp_addr called in sctp_inet6_cmp_addr,
but do the proper check for both v6 addrs and v4mapped addrs.

Pull SELinux updates from Paul Moore:
 "A bigger than usual pull request for SELinux, 13 patches (lucky!)
  along with a scary looking diffstat.

  Although if you look a bit closer, excluding the usual minor
  tweaks/fixes, there are really only two significant changes in this
  pull request: the addition of proper SELinux access controls for SCTP
  and the encapsulation of a lot of internal SELinux state.

  The SCTP changes are the result of a multi-month effort (maybe even a
  year or longer?) between the SELinux folks and the SCTP folks to add
  proper SELinux controls. A special thanks go to Richard for seeing
  this through and keeping the effort moving forward.

  The state encapsulation work is a bit of janitorial work that came out
  of some early work on SELinux namespacing. The question of namespacing
  is still an open one, but I believe there is some real value in the
  encapsulation work so we've split that out and are now sending that up
  to you"

Arnd Bergmann 7ae665f132 sctp: fix unused lable warning
The proc file cleanup left a label possibly unused:

Xin Long 5306653850 sctp: remove unnecessary asoc in sctp_has_association
After Commit dae399d7fd ("sctp: hold transport instead of assoc
when lookup assoc in rx path"), it put transport instead of asoc
in sctp_has_association. Variable 'asoc' is not used any more.

So this patch is to remove it, while at it,  it also changes the
return type of sctp_has_association to bool, and does the same
for it's caller sctp_endpoint_is_peeled_off.

Fun set of conflict resolutions here...

For the mac80211 stuff, these were fortunately just parallel
adds.  Trivially resolved.

In drivers/net/phy/phy.c we had a bug fix in 'net' that moved the
function phy_disable_interrupts() earlier in the file, whilst in
'net-next' the phy_error() call from this function was removed.

In net/ipv4/xfrm4_policy.c, David Ahern's changes to remove the
'rt_table_id' member of rtable collided with a bug fix in 'net' that
added a new struct member "rt_mtu_locked" which needs to be copied
over here.

The mlxsw driver conflict consisted of net-next separating
the span code and definitions into separate files, whilst
a 'net' bug fix made some changes to that moved code.

The mlx5 infiniband conflict resolution was quite non-trivial,
the RDMA tree's merge commit was used as a guide here, and
here are their notes:

    Due to bug fixes found by the syzkaller bot and taken into the for-rc
    branch after development for the 4.17 merge window had already started
    being taken into the for-next branch, there were fairly non-trivial
    merge issues that would need to be resolved between the for-rc branch
    and the for-next branch.  This merge resolves those conflicts and
    provides a unified base upon which ongoing development for 4.17 can
    be based.

    Conflicts:
            drivers/infiniband/hw/mlx5/main.c - Commit 42cea83f95
            (IB/mlx5: Fix cleanup order on unload) added to for-rc and

            match the init/de-init list changes made by the cleanup
            patch.
