Linus Torvalds 42daabf62b ARM SoC late changes
These are changes that arrived a little late before the merge
window or that have multiple dependencies on previous branches
so they did not fit into one of the earlier ones. There
are 10 branches merged here, a total of 39 non-merge commits.
Contents are a mixed bag for the above reasons:

 * Two new SoC platforms: ST microelectronics stixxxx and
the TI 'Nspire' graphing calculator. These should have
been in the 'soc' branch but were a little late
 * Support for the Exynos 5420 variant in mach-exynos,
which is based on the other exynos branches to avoid
   conflicts.
 * Various small changes for sh-mobile, ux500 and davinci
 * Common clk support for MSM

 Conflicts:
 * In Kconfig.debug, various additions trivially conflict,
the list should be kept in alphabetical order when
   resolving.

Linus Torvalds 22237d5a58 ARM SoC non-cricitical bug fixes
These are various bug fixes that were not considered important enough
for merging into 3.10. The majority of the ARM fixes are for the OMAP
and at91 platforms, and there is another set of bug fixes for device
drivers that resolve 'randconfig' build errors and that the subsystem
maintainers either did not pick up or preferred to get merged through
 the arm-soc tree.

Linus Torvalds ce49b6289f Staging tree merge for 3.11-rc1
Here's the large staging tree merge for 3.11-rc1

Huge thing here is the Lustre client code. Unfortunatly, due to it not
building properly on a wide variety of different architectures (this was
production code???), it is currently disabled from the build so as to
 not annoy people.

Other than Lustre, there are loads of comedi patches, working to clean
up that subsystem, iio updates and new drivers, and a load of cleanups
from the OPW applicants in their quest to get a summer internship.

All of these have been in the linux-next releases for a while (hence the
 Lustre code being disabled.)

Olof Johansson 37c5a9f7d7 Merge branch 'sti/soc' into next/late
From Srinivas Kandagatla <srinivas.kandagatla@st.com>:

This patch-set adds basic support for STMicroelectronics STi series SOCs
which includes STiH415 and STiH416 with B2000 and B2020 board support.

STiH415 and STiH416 are dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 CPU, designed for
use in Set-top-boxes. The SOC support is available in mach-sti which
contains support code for STiH415, STiH416 SOCs including the generic
board support.

The reason for adding two SOCs at this patch set is to show that no new
C code is required for second SOC(STiH416) support.

David S. Miller d98cae64e4 Merge git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/davem/net
Conflicts:
	drivers/net/wireless/ath/ath9k/Kconfig
	drivers/net/xen-netback/netback.c
	net/batman-adv/bat_iv_ogm.c
	net/wireless/nl80211.c

The ath9k Kconfig conflict was a change of a Kconfig option name right
next to the deletion of another option.

The xen-netback conflict was overlapping changes involving the
handling of the notify list in xen_netbk_rx_action().

Batman conflict resolution provided by Antonio Quartulli, basically
keep everything in both conflict hunks.

The nl80211 conflict is a little more involved. In 'net' we added a
dynamic memory allocation to nl80211_dump_wiphy() to fix a race that
Linus reported. Meanwhile in 'net-next' the handlers were converted
to use pre and post doit handlers which use a flag to determine
whether to hold the RTNL mutex around the operation.

However, the dump handlers to not use this logic. Instead they have
to explicitly do the locking. There were apparent bugs in the
conversion of nl80211_dump_wiphy() in that we were not dropping the
RTNL mutex in all the return paths, and it seems we very much should
be doing so. So I fixed that whilst handling the overlapping changes.

To simplify the initial returns, I take the RTNL mutex after we try
to allocate 'tb'.

Merge tag 'asoc-v3.10-rc5' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/broonie/sound

Pull ASoC sound updates from Mark Brown:
"Takashi is travelling at the minute and it'd be good to get the
MAINTAINERS update in here merged so sending directly.

As well as the usual driver specifics we've got a couple of core fixes
here, one fixing capabilities for unidirectional streams and the other
fixing suspend while audio streams are active.

The suspend fix is a little involved but mostly as a result of
removing some special casing that was doing the wrong thing."

David S. Miller 5c4b274981 Merge branch 'master' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/pablo/nf
Pablo Neira Ayuso says:

====================
The following patchset contains three Netfilter fixes and update
for the MAINTAINER file for your net tree, they are:

* Fix crash if nf_log_packet is called from conntrack, in that case
both interfaces are NULL, from Hans Schillstrom. This bug introduced
with the logging netns support in the previous merge window.

* Fix compilation of nf_log and nf_queue without CONFIG_PROC_FS,
from myself. This bug was introduced in the previous merge window
with the new netns support for the netfilter logging infrastructure.

* Fix possible crash in xt_TCPOPTSTRIP due to missing sanity
checkings to validate that the TCP header is well-formed, from
myself. I can find this bug in 2.6.25, probably it's been there
since the beginning. I'll pass this to -stable.

* Update MAINTAINER file to point to new nf trees at git.kernel.org,
remove Harald and use M: instead of P: (now obsolete tag) to
keep Jozsef in the list of people.

Please, consider pulling this. Thanks!

Pull target fixes from Nicholas Bellinger:
"A handful of fixes + minor changes this time around, along with one
important >= v3.9 regression fix for IBLOCK backends. The highlights
  include:

   - Use FD_MAX_SECTORS in FILEIO for block_device as
     well as files (agrover)

   - Fix processing of out-of-order CmdSNs with
     iSBD driver (shlomo)

   - Close long-standing target_put_sess_cmd() vs.
core_tmr_abort_task() race with the addition of
     kref_put_spinlock_irqsave() (joern + greg-kh)

   - Fix IBLOCK WCE=1 + DPOFUA=1 backend WRITE
     regression in >= v3.9 (nab + bootc)

Note these four patches are CC'ed to stable.

Also, there is still some work left to be done on the active I/O
shutdown path in target_wait_for_sess_cmds() used by tcm_qla2xxx +
ib_isert fabrics that is still being discussed on the list, and will
  hopefully be resolved soon."

Linus Torvalds 99bece775f Merge branch 'i2c/for-next' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/wsa/linux
Pull i2c changes from Wolfram Sang:

 - an arbitration driver. While the driver is quite simple, it caused
discussion if we need additional arbitration on top of the one
specified in the I2C standard. Conclusion is that I accept a few
generic mechanisms, but not very specific ones.

 - the core lost the detach_adapter() call. It has no users anymore and
was in the way for other cleanups. attach_adapter() is sadly still
there since there are users waiting to be converted.

 - the core gained a bus recovery infrastructure. I2C defines a way to
recover if the data line is stalled. This mechanism is now in the
core and drivers can now pass some data to make use of it.

 - bigger driver cleanups for designware, s3c2410

 - removing superfluous refcounting from drivers

 - removing Ben Dooks as second maintainer due to inactivity. Thanks
for all your work so far, Ben!

 - bugfixes, feature additions, devicetree fixups, simplifications...

Linus Torvalds 736a2dd257 Lots of virtio work which wasn't quite ready for last merge window. Plus
I dived into lguest again, reworking the pagetable code so we can move
the switcher page: our fixmaps sometimes take more than 2MB now...

 Cheers,
 Rusty.

Ugh. Annoying conflicts with the tcm_vhost -> vhost_scsi rename.
Hopefully correctly resolved.
