istvan_v@mailbox.hu 6e1f4df7da V4L/DVB: cx88: fix checks for analog TV inputs
The following patch fixes code that checks for CX88_VMUX_TELEVISION,
but not CX88_VMUX_CABLE. This prevented for example the audio standard
from being set when using the cable input.

Andreas Bombe dab7e3106d V4L/DVB: V4L2: Replace loops for finding max buffers in VIDIOC_REQBUFS callbacks
Due to obvious copy and paste coding a number of video capture drivers
which implement a limit on the buffer memory decremented the user
supplied buffer count in a while loop until it reaches an acceptable
value.

This is a silly thing to do when the maximum value can be directly
computed.

Laurent Pinchart 46b21094ce V4L/DVB (13556): v4l: Remove unneeded video_device::minor assignments
Now that the video_device registration is tested using
video_is_registered(), drivers don't need to initialize the
video_device::minor field to -1 anymore.

Laurent Pinchart 622b828ab7 V4L/DVB (13238): v4l2_subdev: rename tuner s_standby operation to core s_power
Upcoming I2C v4l2_subdev drivers need a way to control the subdevice
power state from the core. This use case is already partially covered by
the tuner s_standby operation, but no way to explicitly come back from
the standby state is available.

Rename the tuner s_standby operation to core s_power, and fix tuner
drivers accordingly. The tuner core will call s_power(0) instead of
s_standby(). No explicit call to s_power(1) is required for tuners as
they are supposed to wake up from standby automatically.

* Add smp_lock.h to files which do need it
* Make smp_lock.h include conditional in hardirq.h

Hans Verkuil c6330fb86f V4L/DVB (9327): v4l: use video_device.num instead of minor in video%d
The kernel number of a v4l2 node (e.g. videoX, radioX or vbiX) is now
independent of the minor number. So instead of using the minor field
of the video_device struct one has to use the num field: this always
contains the kernel number of the device node.

I forgot about this when I did the v4l2 core change, so this patch
converts all drivers that use it in one go. Luckily the change is
trivial.

Guennadi Liakhovetski 0705135e59 V4L/DVB (7237): Convert videobuf-dma-sg to generic DMA API
videobuf-dma-sg does not need to depend on PCI. Switch it to using generic
DMA API, convert all affected drivers, relax Kconfig restriction, improve
compile-time type checking, fix some Coding Style violations while at it.

Ricardo Cerqueira 66e6fbdf99 V4L/DVB (6833): Don't limit cx88 audio routing to blackbird boards
All cx2388 boards need the line-in audio to be routed from an external ADC
(refered to as "ADC mode" in the spec sheet), since the chip is uncapable
of dealing with baseband audio directly.
So... this patch enables normal mode when using the tuner (TV or Radio), and
enables ADC mode with any other source. It'll probably only work with boards
that have supported ADCs (such as the Wolfson wm9775)
