mpic_msgrs has type struct mpic_msgr **, not struct mpic_msgr *, so the
elements of the array should have pointer type, not structure type.
The advantage of kcalloc is, that will prevent integer overflows which
could result from the multiplication of number of elements and size and
it is also a bit nicer to read.
The Coccinelle semantic patch that makes the first change is as follows:
// <smpl>
@disable sizeof_type_expr@
type T;
T **x;
@@
x =
<+...sizeof(
- T
+ *x
)...+>
// </smpl>

Replace some instances of of_irq_map_one()/irq_create_of_mapping() and
of_irq_to_resource() by the simpler equivalent irq_of_parse_and_map().

CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev*
markings need to be removed.
This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata,
__devinitconst, and __devexit from these drivers.
Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me
in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand.

Add several #includes that mpic_msgr relies on being pulled implicitly,
which only happens on certain configs.

Also fix issue of accessing invalid msgr pointer issue. The local
msgr pointer in fucntion mpic_msgr_get will be accessed before
getting a valid address which will cause kernel crash.

Some MPIC implementations contain one or more blocks of message registers
that are used to send messages between cores via IPIs. A simple API has
been added to access (get/put, read, write, etc ...) these message registers.
The available message registers are initially discovered via nodes in the
device tree. A separate commit contains a binding for the message register
nodes.
