Drop use of the deprecated drmP.h file from the
remaining files.
In several cases the drmP.h include could be removed without
furter fixes. Other files required a few header files to be added.
In all files divided includes files in blocks and sort them.

When calling vmw_fb_set_par(), the mode stored in par->set_mode gets free'd
twice. The first free is in vmw_fb_kms_detach(), the second is near the
end of vmw_fb_set_par() under the name of 'old_mode'. The mode-setting code
only works correctly if the mode doesn't actually change. Removing
'old_mode' in favor of using par->set_mode directly fixes the problem.

It makes more sense to have all the buffer object related code in
a single file rather than splitting it up between the resource code
and buffer object pinning utilities.
Place all buffer object related code in vmwgfx_bo.c. Fix up headers
and export resource functionality when needed in the buffer object
code.

Initially vmware buffer objects were only used as DMA buffers, so the name
DMA buffer was a natural one. However, currently they are used also as
dumb buffers and MOBs backing guest backed objects so renaming them to
buffer objects is logical. Particularly since there is a dmabuf subsystem
in the kernel where a dma buffer means something completely different.
This also renames user-space api structures and IOCTL names
correspondingly, but the old names remain defined for now and the ABI
hasn't changed.
There are a couple of minor style changes to make checkpatch happy.

We have had problems displaying fbdev after a resume and as a
workaround we have had to call vmw_fb_refresh(). This has had
a number of unwanted side-effects. The root of the problem was,
however that the coalesced fbdev dirty region was not empty on
the first dirty_mark() after a resume, so a flush was never
scheduled.
Fix this by force scheduling an fbdev flush after resume, and
remove the workaround.

At least since the atomic port, the vmwgfx fbdev code is taking
a number of unnecessary modeset locks. In particular the
kms_set_config() function will grab its own locks, leading to
locking retries. So avoid drm_modeset_lock_all() and instead
provide a local acquire context for kms_set_config(). Also have the
vmw_kms_fbdev_init data itself grab the lock that it needs.
This also fixed a long standing problem that vmw_fb_close() didn't
provide an acquire context for kms_set_config(), causing potential
warnings and hangs during driver unload. This problem was uncovered by the
recent commit "drm/vmwgfx: Improve on hibernation"

Repeated driver load and unload on Ubuntu 16.04.2

It was used to early block fbdev dirty processing. Replace it with an
unprotected check of the par->dirty.active field. While this might
race with the vmw_fb_off() function, we do a protected check later so
the race will at worst lead to grabbing and releasing a couple of locks.

Make it possible to hibernate also with masters that don't switch VT at
hibernation time. We save and restore modesetting state unless fbdev is
active and enabled at hibernation time.

fbdev framebuffers were previously pinned to be able to keep them mapped
across updates.
This commit introduces a mechanism that instead revalidates the map on
each update, keeping the map cached across updates. The cached map is torn
down if the underlying pages change. Typically on buffer object moves and
swapouts.
This should be nicer to the system when we have resource contention.
Testing done: Basic fbdev functionality under Fedora 27.

- FBINFO_CAN_FORCE_OUTPUT has been a lie ever since we nerfed&removed
the entire panic handling code in our fbdev emulation. We might
restore kms panic output, but not through the bazillion of legacy
code layers called fbdev/fbcon, there's just no way to make that
work safely.
- With the module check change FBINFO_DEFAULT is always 0, so can be
removed too.
That removes another change to cargo-cult stuff in kms drivers, yay!

Fixing this properly would mean we get to wire the acquire_ctx all the
way through vmwgfx fbdev code, and doing the same was tricky for the
shared fbdev layer. Probably much better to look into refactoring the
entire code to use the helpers, but since that's not a viable
long-term solution fix the issue by open-coding a vmwgfx version of
set_config, that does the legacy backoff dance internally.
Note: Just compile-tested. The idea is to take
drm_mode_set_config_internal(), remove the "is this a legacy driver"
check, and whack the drm_atomic_legacy_backoff trickery at the end.
Since drm_atomic_legacy_backoff is for atomic commits only we need to
open-code it.

Pinning fbdev's FB at the start of VRAM prevents X from pinning
its FB. Since for ldu, the fb would be pinned anyway during a
mode set, just skip pinning it in fbdev.
This is not the best solution, but since ldu is not used much
anymore, it seems like a reasonable workaround.

Currently the pitch is passed in as depth. This causes
drm_mode_legacy_fb_format() to return the wrong pixel format.
The wrong pixel format will be rejected by vmw_kms_new_framebuffer(),
thus leaving par->set_fb to NULL.
This eventually causes a crash in vmw_fb_setcolreg() when the code
tries to dereference par->set_fb.

Surprisingly few changes needed to make it happen. Compile-tested
only. The idea is that this replaces the 2 patches from Ville's big
fb->format patch series as a prep patch. Only impact to later patches
should be the one instace added in this patch where we look at
fb->pixel_format (instead of fb->bpp and fb->depth), so minor
adjustements in the cocci-generated patches needed.

For the Screen Object display unit, we need to reserve a
guest-invisible region equal to the size of the framebuffer for
the host. This region can only be reserved in VRAM, whereas
the guest-visible framebuffer can be reserved in either VRAM or
GMR.
As such priority should be given to the guest-invisible
region otherwise in a limited VRAM situation, we can fail to
allocate this region.
This patch makes it so that vmw_sou_backing_alloc() is called
before the framebuffer is pinned.

screen issue on Ubuntu 16.04 server
mode->hdisplay * (var->bits_per_pixel + 7) gets evaluated before
the division, potentially making the pitch larger than it should
be.
Since the original intention is to do a div-round-up, just use

When a user-space process writes directly to the fbdev framebuffer,
we hit a circular locking dependency. Fix this by introducing a local
delayed work callback so that the defio lock can be released before
calling into the modesetting code for a dirty update.

With screen targets the old legacy display system fbdev doesn't work
satisfactory anymore. At best the resolution is severely restricted.
Therefore implement fbdev on top of the kms system. With this change, fbdev
will be using whatever KMS backend is chosen.
There are helpers available for this, so in the future we'd probably want
to implement the helper callbacks instead of calling into our KMS
implementation directly.

This commit reworks device initialization so that we always enable the
FIFO at driver load, deferring SVGA enable until either first modeset
or fbdev enable.
This should always leave the fifo properly enabled for render- and
control nodes.
In addition,
*) We disable the use of VRAM when SVGA is not enabled.
*) We simplify PM support so that we only throw out resources on hibernate,
not on suspend, since the device keeps its state on suspend.

Commit "drm/vmwgfx: correct fb_fix_screeninfo.line_length", while fixing a
vmwgfx fbdev bug, also writes the pitch to a supposedly read-only register:
SVGA_REG_BYTES_PER_LINE, while it should be (and also in fact is) written to
SVGA_REG_PITCHLOCK.
This patch is Cc'd stable because of the unknown effects writing to this
register might have, particularly on older device versions.

Previously, the vmwgfx_fb driver would allow users to call FBIOSET_VINFO, but it would not adjust

Don't use a per-master semaphore (ttm lock) for reservation protection, but
rather a per-device semaphore. This is needed since clients connecting using
render nodes aren't master aware.
The ttm lock used should probably be replaced with a reader-write semaphore
once the function down_xx_interruptible() is available.

Pull preparatory patches for user API disintegration from David Howells:

non-reentrant and the regular flushes guarantee that the work item is
not pending or running on any CPU on return, so there's no reason to
use the sync flushes at all and they're going away.
This patch doesn't make any functional difference.

The drm drivers set the fb_info->pixmap fields without setting
fb_info->pixmap.addr. If this is not set the fb core will overwrite
these all fb_info->pixmap fields anyway, so there is not much point
in setting them in the first place.

Add / fix some function comments.
Don't move out an fbdev framebuffer when unused. Just unpin.
Only have a single function that computes a SVGAGuestPtr from the buffer's
current placement, and make it more versatile by accepting a
struct ttm_buffer_object
