Joonsoo Kim 7b02190c27 mm/debug_pagealloc: fix build failure on ppc and some other archs
Kim Phillips reported following build failure.

  LD init/built-in.o
  mm/built-in.o: In function `free_pages_prepare':
  mm/page_alloc.c:770: undefined reference to `.kernel_map_pages'
  mm/built-in.o: In function `prep_new_page':
  mm/page_alloc.c:933: undefined reference to `.kernel_map_pages'
  mm/built-in.o: In function `map_pages':
  mm/compaction.c:61: undefined reference to `.kernel_map_pages'
  make: *** [vmlinux] Error 1

Reason for this problem is that commit 031bc5743f
("mm/debug-pagealloc: make debug-pagealloc boottime configurable")
forgot to remove the old declaration of kernel_map_pages() for some
architectures. This patch removes them to fix build failure.

Sam Ravnborg f05a68653e sparc: drop use of extern for prototypes in arch/sparc/include/asm
Drop extern for all prototypes and adjust alignment of parameters
as required after the removal.
In a few rare cases adjust linelength to conform to maximum 80 chars,
and likewise in a few rare cases adjust alignment of parameters
to static functions.

Sam Ravnborg 1edc17832d sparc32: use flushi when run-time patching in per_cpu_patch
Davis S. Miller wrote:

The way we do that now is overkill. We only needed to use the MMU
cache ops when we had sun4c around because sun4c lacked support for
the "flush" instruction.

But all sun4m and later chips have it so we can use it
unconditionally.

So in the per_cpu_patch() code, get rid of the cache ops invocation,
and instead execute a "flush %reg" after each of the instruction patch
assignments, where %reg is set to the address of the instruction that
was stored into.

Perhaps take the flushi() definition from asm/cacheflush_64.h and
place it into asm/cacheflush.h, then you can simply use that.
"

Implemented as per suggestion.
Moved run-time patching before we call paging_init(),
so helper methods in paging_init() may utilise run-time patching too.

Ilya Loginov 2d4dc890b5 block: add helpers to run flush_dcache_page() against a bio and a request's pages
Mtdblock driver doesn't call flush_dcache_page for pages in request. So,
this causes problems on architectures where the icache doesn't fill from
the dcache or with dcache aliases. The patch fixes this.

The ARCH_IMPLEMENTS_FLUSH_DCACHE_PAGE symbol was introduced to avoid
pointless empty cache-thrashing loops on architectures for which
flush_dcache_page() is a no-op. Every architecture was provided with this
flush pages on architectires where ARCH_IMPLEMENTS_FLUSH_DCACHE_PAGE is
equal 1 or do nothing otherwise.

See "fix mtd_blkdevs problem with caches on some architectures" discussion
on LKML for more information.

Sam Ravnborg a439fe51a1 sparc, sparc64: use arch/sparc/include
The majority of this patch was created by the following script:

***
ASM=arch/sparc/include/asm
mkdir -p $ASM
git mv include/asm-sparc64/ftrace.h $ASM
git rm include/asm-sparc64/*
git mv include/asm-sparc/* $ASM
sed -ie 's/asm-sparc64/asm/g' $ASM/*
sed -ie 's/asm-sparc/asm/g' $ASM/*
***

The rest was an update of the top-level Makefile to use sparc
for header files when sparc64 is being build.
And a small fixlet to pick up the correct unistd.h from
sparc64 code.
