After discussing on the mailing list it turns out that
accessing the flash memory from the kernel can disrupt CPU
sleep states and CPU hotplugging, so let's disable this
DT node by default. Setups that want to access the flash
can modify this entry to enable the flash again.
Quoting Sudeep Holla: "the firmware assumes the flash is
always in read mode while Linux leaves NOR flash in
"read id" mode after initialization."

Enable building all dtb files when CONFIG_OF_ALL_DTBS is enabled. The dtbs
are not really dependent on a platform being enabled or any other kernel
config, so for testing coverage it is convenient to build all of the dtbs.
This builds all dts files in the tree, not just targets listed. This
is simpler for arm64 which has a bunch of sub-dirs.

However juno, ste-snowball and emev2-kzm9d dts file have a undetected
"wakeup" property to indictate the wakeup source.

Commit 9ccd608070 "arm64: dts: add device tree for ARM SMM-A53x2 on
LogicTile Express 20MG" added a new dts file to arch/arm64 which
included "../../../../arm/boot/dts/vexpress-v2m-rs1.dtsi", i.e. a
.dtsi supplied by arch/arm.
Unfortunately this causes some issues for the split device tree
repository[0], since things get moved around there. In that context
the new .dts ends up at src/arm64/arm/vexpress-v2f-1xv7-ca53x2.dts
while the include is at src/arm/vexpress-v2m-rs1.dtsi.
The sharing of the .dtsi is legitimate since the baseboard is the same
for various vexpress systems whatever processor they use.
Previously I attempted to resolve this by creating a shared location
for such things but we have been unable to come to a consensus on
where that should be.
Instead this patch simply replaces the use of ../../ in the dts
/include/ with a symlink in arch/arm64/boot/dts/arm pointing to the
file arch/arm/boot/dts.
Since the split device tree repo will shortly be required to flatten
symlinks for other reasons this will cause the dtsi file to appear in
both src/arm and src/arm64 in the split repo, which is an improvement
on not building for arm64 now.

This patch adds all UART nodes for the Hi6220 SoC. Recently a board[1] has
been developed to standardize UART access across all the 96boards consumer
edition boards. To use this hardware on HiKey we must configure and enable
UART3. However, to ensure backward compatibility we must keep UART0 enabled
as well.
I have removed the hard coded clock index values in favor of using the ones
already defined in include/dt-bindings/clock/hi6220-clock.h.
Since UART0 needs to be soldered, it has been suggested to use the UART3 as
the default console.
This patch was boot tested on top of next-20150930, with both UART
configurations.

The idle-states bindings mandate that the entry-method string
in the idle-states node must be "psci" for ARM v8 64-bit systems,
but the examples in the bindings report a wrong entry-method string.
Owing to this typo, some dts in the kernel wrongly defined the
entry-method property, since they likely cut and pasted the example
definition without paying attention to the bindings definitions.
This patch fixes the typo in the DT idle states bindings examples and
respective dts in the kernel so that the bindings and related dts
files are made compliant.

The Hisilicon Network Subsystem is a long term evolution IP which is
supposed to be used in Hisilicon ICT SoC. The IP, which is called hns
for short, is a TCP/IP acceleration engine, which can directly decode
TCP/IP stream and distribute them to different ring buffers.
HNS can be configured to work on different mode for different scenario.
This patch make use only some of the mode to make it as standard
ethernet NIC. The other mode will be added soon.
The whole function has 4 kernel sub-modules:
hnae: the HNS acceleration engine framework. It provides a abstract
interface between the engine and the upper layers which make use of the
engine by ring buffer.
hns_enet_drv: a standard ethernet driver that base on the ring buffer.
hns_dsaf: one of the implementation of HNS acceleration engine, which is
applied on Hililicon hip05, Hi1610 and other later-on SoCs
hns_mdio: the mdio control to the PHY, used by acceleration engine

Here's our branch of ARM64 contents for this merge window.
Most of this is DT contents for new SoCs (or those who have seen new
device support added). Maybe we should stop separating out the arm64
contents here to avoid the kind of internal conflicts as we got this
time around, where 32- and 64-bit contents conflicted.
Anyhow, on the actual contents:
New SoCs:
- Broadcom North Star 2 (ns2)
- Marvell Berlin4CT
- Mediatek MT6795
- Rockchip RK3368
In addition, there are enhancements for the following platforms:
- Mediatek MT8173: cpuidle-dt updates, misc other additions
- ZyncMP: A bunch of devices added to the existing DTSI
- Qualcomm MSM8916 and APQ8016 updates for USB, etc.
+ A handful of other updates for various platforms

The sp810 clk driver is calling the clk consumer APIs from
clk_prepare ops to change the parent to a 1 MHz fixed rate clock
for each of the clocks that the driver provides. Use
assigned-clock-parents for this instead of doing it in the driver
to avoid using the consumer API in provider code. This also
allows us to remove the usage of clk provider APIs that take a
struct clk as an argument from the sp810 driver.

Resolution summary:
Mainline had an earlier version of the commit, resolve in favor of the
newer patch in next/dt branch.
The Juno board has two keys connected to a PL061 GPIO block,
in accordance to DDI0524B "ARM Versatile Express Juno Development
Platform" revision 1.0, table 2-4 "GPIO (0) and GPIO (1) used
for additional user key entry". By trial-and-error I found that
these are connected to the two keys named "power" and "home"

While skeleton.dtsi was initially conceived as a simple way to bootstrap
writing a dts, it has proven to be problematic:
* The #address-cells and #size-cells values used in skeleton.dtsi may
not match what a user wants (e.g. when they need to describe a range
larger than 4GB).
* For dts files where memory nodes have unit-addresses, it adds a
redundant /memory node, for which the reg entry may not be
appropriately sized (e.g. where #size-cells has been overridden).
* For dts files which assume that a bootloader will fill in the memory
node(s), no node is present in the dts (and hence there is no attached
comment), making it hard to distinguish these cases from bad dts
files, and masking any warnings dtc may produce w.r.t. missing nodes.
* The default empty /chosen and /aliases are somewhat useless, and it
would be preferable for dts to fill these in (e.g. for
/aliases/serial0 and /chosen/stdout-path).
This patch removes skeleton.dtsi from arm64. There are currently no
users, so we can remove it before any appear.

The clock generator in IOFPGA generates the two source clocks: 32kHz and
1MHz for the SP810 System Controller.
The SP810 System Controller selects 32kHz or 1MHz as the sources for
TIM_CLK[3:0], the SP804 timer clocks. The powerup default is 32kHz but
the maximum of "refclk" and "timclk" is chosen by the SP810 driver.
This patch adds support for SP810 system controller and also fixes the
SP804 timer clock frequency.
However the SP804 driver needs to be enabled on ARM64 to test this,
which requires SP804 driver to be moved out of arch/arm.

arm64: Create link to include/dt-bindings to enable C preprocessor use.
The remaining cleanups for 3.19 are to a large part result of
devicetree conversion nearing completion on two other platforms
besides AT91:
* Like AT91, Renesas shmobile is in the process to migrate to DT and
multiplatform, but using a different approach of doing it one
SoC at a time. For 3.19, the r8a7791 platform and associated\
"Koelsch" board are considered complete and we remove the non-DT
non-multiplatform support for this.
* The ARM Versatile Express has supported DT and multiplatform
for a long time, but we have still kept the legacy board files
around, because not all drivers were fully working before. We
have finally taken the last step to remove the board files.
Other changes in this branch are preparation for the later branches
or just unrelated to the more interesting changes:
* The dts files for arm64 get moved into per-vendor directories for
a clearer structure.
* Some dead code removal (zynq, exynos, davinci, imx)
* Using pr_*() macros more consistently instead of printk(KERN_*)
in some platform code.

Pull "dts, kbuild: Implement support for dtb vendor subdirs" from
Robert Richter:
dts, kbuild: Implement support for dtb vendor subdirs
For arm64 we want to put dts files into vendor's subdirectories from
the beginning. This patch set implements this. As this is a generic
kbuild implementation, vendor subdirs will be also available for
arch/arm and other architectures. The subdirectory tree is also
reflected in the install path.
A new makefile variable dts-dirs is introduced to point to dts
subdirs. This variable is used by kbuild for building and installation
of dtb files.
A dts Makefile looks now as follows:
----
dtb-$(CONFIG_...) += some_file_1.dtb
dtb-$(CONFIG_...) += some_file_2.dtb
dts-dirs += dir_vendor_a
dts-dirs += dir_vendor_b
always := $(dtb-y)
subdir-y := $(dts-dirs)
clean-files := *.dtb
----
This patches also introduces the dtbs_install make target for
arm64. Install rules are moved to Makefile.dtbinst using the same
style and calling convention like for modinst and fwinst.

Move dtbs install rules to Makefile.dtbinst. This change is needed to
implement support for dts vendor subdirs. The change makes Makefiles
easier and smaller as no longer the dtbs_install rule needs to be
defined. Another advantage is that install goals are not encoded in

the arm-soc tree, like we have been doing for arm32.
This time, there is only one set of changes, adding support for the
Cavium "Thunder" Soc family. Since the changes are relatively small,
this includes Kconfig, defconfig and DT changes.
If all goes well, we will never require adding actual C source code
for platform support in arm64, given that the architecture is more
clearly defined and we have moved out a lot of the platform specifics
into device drivers for arm32 already.

Components of the Versatile Express platform (configuration
microcontrollers on motherboard and daughterboards in particular)
talk to each other over a custom configuration bus. They
provide miscellaneous functions (from clock generator control
to energy sensors) which are represented as platform devices
(and Device Tree nodes). The transactions on the bus can
be generated by different "bridges" in the system, some
of which are universal for the whole platform (for the price
of high transfer latencies), others restricted to a subsystem
(but much faster).
Until now drivers for such functions were using custom "func"
API, which is being replaced in this patch by regmap calls.
This required:
* a rework (and move to drivers/bus directory, as suggested
by Samuel and Arnd) of the config bus core, which is much
simpler now and uses device model infrastructure (class)
to keep track of the bridges; non-DT case (soon to be
retired anyway) is simply covered by a special device
registration function
* the new config-bus driver also takes over device population,
so there is no need for special matching table for
of_platform_populate nor "simple-bus" hack in the arm64
model dtsi file (relevant bindings documentation has
been updated); this allows all the vexpress devices
fit into normal device model, making it possible
to remove plenty of early inits and other hacks in
the near future
* adaptation of the syscfg bridge implementation in the
sysreg driver, again making it much simpler; there is
a special case of the "energy" function spanning two
registers, where they should be both defined in the tree
now, but backward compatibility is maintained in the code
* modification of the relevant drivers:
* hwmon - just a straight-forward API change
* power/reset driver - API change
* regulator - API change plus error handling
simplification
* osc clock driver - this one required larger rework
in order to turn in into a standard platform driver

Commit 90556ca1 ("arm64: vexpress: Add dts files for the ARMv8 RTSM
models") added foundation-v8.dts, but erroneously set
/cpus/#address-cells = <1> while providing two cells in each cpus/cpu@N
node's reg property.
As of commit ea393a2e ("arm64: smp: honour #address-size when parsing
CPU reg property") we read in as many address cells as specified rather
than always reading two. This means that for foundation-v8.dts, we only
read the first reg cell (zero) for each cpu node, and receive a lot of
warnings at boot of the form "/cpus/cpu@1: duplicate cpu reg properties
in the DT".
This patch corrects foundation-v8.dts to have the correct value for
/cpus/#address-cells.

contained in $(targets). (make V=2 indicates this). Add $(dtb-y) to
$(targets) to prevent *.dtb from always being rebuilt. Note
This fixes a regression introduced by the .dtb rule rework in da4cbc6
"arm64: use new common dtc rule", although since arm64 doesn't actually
have any *.dts yet, this isn't a critical issue.

The current rules have the .dtb files build in a different directory
from the .dts files. This patch changes arm64 to use the generic dtb
rule which builds .dtb files in the same directory as the source .dts.
This requires moving parts of arch/arm64/boot/Makefile into newly created
arch/arm64/boot/dts/Makefile, and updating arch/arm64/Makefile to call the
new Makefile.
