Peter Chen 813072b67e usb: cdns3: trace: using correct dir value
It should use the correct direction value from register, not depends
on previous software setting. It fixed the EP number wrong issue at
trace when the TRBERR interrupt occurs for EP0IN.

When the EP0IN IOC has finished, software prepares the setup packet
request, the expected direction is OUT, but at that time, the TRBERR
for EP0IN may occur since it is DMULT mode, the DMA does not stop
until TRBERR has met.

Greg Kroah-Hartman ca681aa492 USB: changes for v5.8 merge window
Rather busy cycle. We have a total 99 non-merge commits going into v5.8
merge window. The majority of the changes are in dwc3 this around (31.7%
of all changes). It's composed mostly Thinh's recent updates to get dwc3
to behave correctly with stream transfers. We have also have Roger's for
Keystone platforms and Neil's updates for the meson glue layer.

Apart from those, we have the usual set of non-critical fixes, new
device IDs, spelling fixes all over the place.

Peter Chen 8b5b9adbff usb: cdns3: ep0: delete the redundant status stage
Each setup stage will prepare status stage at cdns3_ep0_setup_phase,
it doesn't need to add extra status stage for test mode handling,
otherwise, the controller can't enter the test mode. Through the Lecroy
bus analyzer log, the controller will always wait status stage
even it is prepared by software later than the test mode is set
by software. If we comment out the status stage at cdns3_ep0_setup_phase,
the controller will not enter test mode even the test mode is set
beforehand.

Heikki Krogerus bce3052f0c usb: roles: Provide the switch drivers handle to the switch in the API
The USB role callback functions had a parameter pointing to
the parent device (struct device) of the switch. The
assumption was that the switch parent is always the
controller. Firstly, that may not be true in every case, and
secondly, it prevents us from supporting devices that supply
multiple muxes.

Changing the first parameter of usb_role_switch_set_t and
usb_role_switch_get_t from struct device to struct
usb_role_switch.

Peter Chen 4bf2dd6513 usb: cdns3: gadget: toggle cycle bit before reset endpoint
If there are TRBs pending during reset endpoint operation, the
DMA will advance after reset operation, but it isn't expected,
since the data is not yet available (For OUT, the data is not
yet available). After the data is ready, there won't be any
interrupt since the EP_TRADDR already points to next TRB entry
and doorbell is not set.

To fix it, it toggles cycle bit before reset operation, and restores
it after reset, it could avoid unexpected DMA advance due to
cycle bit is for software during the endpoint reset operation.

Pawel Laszczak f616c3bda4 usb: cdns3: Fix dequeue implementation.
Dequeuing implementation in cdns3_gadget_ep_dequeue gets first request from
deferred_req_list and changed TRB associated with it to LINK TRB.
This approach is incorrect because deferred_req_list contains requests
that have not been placed on hardware RING. In this case driver should
just giveback this request to gadget driver.

The patch implements new approach that first checks where dequeuing
request is located and only when it's on Transfer Ring then changes TRB
associated with it to LINK TRB.
During processing completed transfers such LINK TRB will be ignored.

Pawel Laszczak 623170ff59 usb:cdns3: Fix for CV CH9 running with g_zero driver.
Patch fixes issue with Halt Endnpoint Test observed during using g_zero
driver as DUT. Bug occurred only on some testing board.

Endpoint can defer transition to Halted state if endpoint has pending
requests.
Patch add additional condition that allows to return correct endpoint
status during Get Endpoint Status request even if the halting endpoint
is in progress.

Pawel Laszczak 9816144313 usb: cdns3: Fix sheduling with locks held.
Patch fix issue in cdns3_ep0_feature_handle_device function.

The function usleep_range can't be used there because this function is
called with locks held and IRQs disabled in
cdns3_device_thread_irq_handler().

To resolve this issue patch replaces usleep_range with mdelay.

Colin Ian King 04db1d2057 usb: cdns3: fix missing assignment of ret before error check on ret
Currently the check on a non-zero return code in ret is false because
ret has been initialized to zero. I believe that ret should be assigned
to the return from the call to readl_poll_timeout_atomic before the
check on ret. Since ret is being re-assinged the original initialization
of ret to zero can be removed.
