Mauro Carvalho Chehab ad05ff091f media: s5h14*.h: fix typos for CONTINUOUS
There is a typo at the several s5h14*.h headers: continuous were
spelled incorrectly.

Fix it with this script:

for i in $(git grep -l S5H1409_MPEGTIMING_CONTINOUS_NONINVERTING_CLOCK); do
	sed s,S5H1409_MPEGTIMING_CONTINOUS_NONINVERTING_CLOCK,S5H1409_MPEGTIMING_CONTINUOUS_NONINVERTING_CLOCK,g -i $i
done
for i in $(git grep -l -i continous drivers/media); do sed s,CONTINOUS,CONTINUOUS,g -i $i; done

Bhumika Goyal f558461335 [media] saa7134: constify nxt200x_config structures
Declare nxt200x_config structures as const as they are only passed as
an argument to the function dvb_attach. dvb_attach calls its first
argument on the rest of its arguments. The first argument of
dvb_attach in the changed cases is nxt200x_attach and the parameter of
this function to which the object references are passed is of type
const. So, nxt200x_config structures having this property can be made
const.

Sakari Ailus bcb63314e2 [media] media: Drop FSF's postal address from the source code files
Drop the FSF's postal address from the source code files that typically
contain mostly the license text. Of the 628 removed instances, 578 are

The patch has been created with the following command without manual edits:

git grep -l "675 Mass Ave\|59 Temple Place\|51 Franklin St" -- \
	drivers/media/ include/media|while read i; do i=$i perl -e '
open(F,"< $ENV{i}");
$a=join("", <F>);
$a =~ s/[ \t]*\*\n.*You should.*\n.*along with.*\n.*(\n.*USA.*$)?\n//m
	&& $a =~ s/(^.*)Or, (point your browser to) /$1To obtain the license, $2\n$1/m;
close(F);

Mauro Carvalho Chehab 395eff951a [media] saa7134: don't break long lines
Due to the 80-cols restrictions, and latter due to checkpatch
warnings, several strings were broken into multiple lines. This
is not considered a good practice anymore, as it makes harder
to grep for strings at the source code.

As we're right now fixing other drivers due to KERN_CONT, we need
to be able to identify what printk strings don't end with a "\n".
It is a way easier to detect those if we don't break long lines.

So, join those continuation lines.

The patch was generated via the script below, and manually
adjusted if needed.

</script>
use Text::Tabs;
while (<>) {
	if ($next ne "") {
		$c=$_;
		if ($c =~ /^\s+\"(.*)/) {
			$c2=$1;
			$next =~ s/\"\n$//;
			$n = expand($next);
			$funpos = index($n, '(');
			$pos = index($c2, '",');
			if ($funpos && $pos > 0) {
				$s1 = substr $c2, 0, $pos + 2;
				$s2 = ' ' x ($funpos + 1) . substr $c2, $pos + 2;
				$s2 =~ s/^\s+//;

				$s2 = ' ' x ($funpos + 1) . $s2 if ($s2 ne "");

				print unexpand("$next$s1\n");
				print unexpand("$s2\n") if ($s2 ne "");
			} else {
				print "$next$c2\n";
			}
			$next="";
			next;
		} else {
			print $next;
		}
		$next="";
	} else {
		if (m/\"$/) {
			if (!m/\\n\"$/) {
				$next=$_;
				next;
			}
		}
	}
	print $_;
}

Mauro Carvalho Chehab 0df289a209 [media] dvb: Get rid of typedev usage for enums
The DVB API was originally defined using typedefs. This is against
Kernel CodingStyle, and there's no good usage here. While we can't
remove its usage on userspace, we can avoid its usage in Kernelspace.

So, let's do it.

This patch was generated by this shell script:

	for j in $(grep typedef include/uapi/linux/dvb/frontend.h |cut -d' ' -f 3); do for i in $(find drivers/media -name '*.[ch]' -type f) $(find drivers/staging/media -name '*.[ch]' -type f); do sed "s,${j}_t,enum $j," <$i >a && mv a $i; done; done

While here, make CodingStyle fixes on the affected lines.

Mauro Carvalho Chehab 6139ebc658 [media] saa7134: fix CodingStyle issues on the lines touched by pr_foo refactor
Several lines touched by the pr_foo refactoring patches are not
following the Linux Coding style.

While we won't be fixing the style globally at the driver, we should,
at least, fix on the lines we touched.

Basically, this patch add (or remove) whitespaces and blank lines
where needed.

No functional changes.

Hans Verkuil 2ada815fc4 [media] saa7134: convert to vb2
Convert the saa7134 driver to vb2.

Note that while this uses the vb2-dma-sg version, the VB2_USERPTR mode is
disabled. The DMA hardware only supports DMAing full pages, and in the
USERPTR memory model the first and last scatter-gather buffer is almost
never a full page.

In practice this means that we can't use the VB2_USERPTR mode.

This has been tested with raw video, compressed video, VBI, radio, DVB and
video overlays.

Unfortunately, a vb2 conversion is one of those things you cannot split
up in smaller patches, it's all or nothing. This patch switches the whole
driver over to vb2, using the vb2 ioctl and fop helper functions.

Mauro Carvalho Chehab 48a8a03b58 [media] cx88: kernel bz#9476: Fix tone setting for Nova-S+ model 92001
Hauppauge Nova-S-Plus DVB-S model 92001 does not lock on horizontal
polarisation. According with the info provided at the BZ, model
92002 does.

The difference is that, on model 92001, the tone select is done via
isl6421, while, on other devices, this is done via cx24123 code.
This patch adds a way to override the demod's set_tone at isl6421
driver. In order to avoid regressions, the override is enabled
only for cx88 Nova S plus model 92001. For all other models and
devices, the set_tone is provided by the demod driver.

Patch originally proposed at bz@9476[1] by Michel Meyers and
John Donoghue but applying the original patch would break support
for all other devices based on isl6421.
