Nishad Kamdar 508578f2f5 xfs: Use the correct style for SPDX License Identifier
This patch corrects the SPDX License Identifier style in header files
related to XFS File System support. For C header files
Documentation/process/license-rules.rst mandates C-like comments.
(opposed to C source files where C++ style should be used).

Changes made by using a script provided by Joe Perches here:
https://lkml.org/lkml/2019/2/7/46.

Christoph Hellwig d5f0f49a9b xfs: clean up the attr flag confusion
The ATTR_* flags have a long IRIX history, where they a userspace
interface, the on-disk format and an internal interface. We've split
out the on-disk interface to the XFS_ATTR_* values, but despite (or
because?) of that the flag have still been a mess. Switch the
internal interface to pass the on-disk XFS_ATTR_* flags for the
namespace and the Linux XATTR_* flags for the actual flags instead.
The ATTR_* values that are actually used are move to xfs_fs.h with a
new XFS_IOC_* prefix to not conflict with the userspace version that
has the same name and must have the same value.

Vincenzo Frascino ca78eee7b4 xfs: Add __packed to xfs_dir2_sf_entry_t definition
xfs_check_ondisk_structs() verifies that the sizes of the data types
used by xfs are correct via the XFS_CHECK_STRUCT_SIZE() macro.

Since the structures padding can vary depending on the ABI (e.g. on
ARM OABI structures are padded to multiple of 32 bits), it may happen
that xfs_dir2_sf_entry_t size check breaks the compilation with the
assertion below:

In file included from linux/include/linux/string.h:6,
                 from linux/include/linux/uuid.h:12,
                 from linux/fs/xfs/xfs_linux.h:10,

    error: XFS: sizeof(xfs_dir2_sf_entry_t) is wrong, expected 3

Restore the correct behavior adding __packed to the structure definition.

Christoph Hellwig 780d290577 xfs: fix misuse of the XFS_ATTR_INCOMPLETE flag
XFS_ATTR_INCOMPLETE is a flag in the on-disk attribute format, and thus
in a different namespace as the ATTR_* flags in xfs_da_args.flags.
Switch to using a XFS_DA_OP_INCOMPLETE flag in op_flags instead. Without
this users might be able to inject this flag into operations using the
attr by handle ioctl.

Brian Foster 8764f98351 xfs: factor xfs_da3_blkinfo verification into common helper
With the verifier magic value helper in place, we've left a bit more
duplicate code across the verifiers that involve struct
xfs_da3_blkinfo. This includes the da node, xattr leaf and dir leaf
verifiers, all of which perform similar checks for v4 and v5
filesystems.

Create a common helper to verify an xfs_da3_blkinfo structure,
taking care to only access v5 fields where appropriate, and refactor
the aforementioned verifiers to use the helper. No functional
changes.

Dave Chinner 0b61f8a407 xfs: convert to SPDX license tags
Remove the verbose license text from XFS files and replace them
with SPDX tags. This does not change the license of any of the code,
merely refers to the common, up-to-date license files in LICENSES/

This change was mostly scripted. fs/xfs/Makefile and
fs/xfs/libxfs/xfs_fs.h were modified by hand, the rest were detected
and modified by the following command:

for f in `git grep -l "GNU General" fs/xfs/` ; do
	echo $f
	cat $f | awk -f hdr.awk > $f.new
	mv -f $f.new $f
done

And the hdr.awk script that did the modification (including
detecting the difference between GPL-2.0 and GPL-2.0+ licenses)
is as follows:

$ cat hdr.awk
BEGIN {
	hdr = 1.0
	tag = "GPL-2.0"
	str = ""
}

/^ \* This program is free software/ {
	hdr = 2.0;
	next
}

/any later version./ {
	tag = "GPL-2.0+"
	next
}

/^ \*\// {
	if (hdr > 0.0) {
		print "// SPDX-License-Identifier: " tag
		print str
		print $0
		str=""
		hdr = 0.0
		next
	}
	print $0
	next
}

/^ \* / {
	if (hdr > 1.0)
		next
	if (hdr > 0.0) {
		if (str != "")
			str = str "\n"
		str = str $0
		next
	}
	print $0
	next
}

/^ \*/ {
	if (hdr > 0.0)
		next
	print $0
	next
}

// {
	if (hdr > 0.0) {
		if (str != "")
			str = str "\n"
		str = str $0
		next
	}
	print $0
}

END { }

Christoph Hellwig aa2dd0ad4d xfs: remove __arch_pack
Instead we always declare struct xfs_dir2_sf_hdr as packed. That's
the expected layout, and while most major architectures do the packing
by default the new structure size and offset checker showed that not
only the ARM old ABI got this wrong, but various minor embedded
architectures did as well.

Jan Kara ffeecc5213 xfs: Fix xfs_attr_leafblock definition
struct xfs_attr_leafblock contains 'entries' array which is declared
with size 1 altough it can in fact contain much more entries. Since this
array is followed by further struct members, gcc (at least in version
4.8.3) thinks that the array has the fixed size of 1 element and thus
may optimize away all accesses beyond the end of array resulting in
non-working code. This problem was only observed with userspace code in
xfsprogs, however it's better to be safe in kernel as well and have
matching kernel and xfsprogs definitions.

Brian Foster e87021a2bc xfs: use larger in-core attr firstused field and detect overflow
The on-disk xfs_attr3_leaf_hdr structure firstused field is 16-bit and
subject to overflow when fs block size is 64k. The field is typically
initialized to block size when an attr leaf block is initialized. This
problem is demonstrated by assert failures when running xfstests
generic/117 on an fs with 64k blocks.

To support the existing attr leaf block algorithms for insertion,
rebalance and entry movement, increase the size of the in-core firstused
field to 32-bit and handle the potential overflow on conversion to/from
the on-disk structure. If the overflow condition occurs, set a special
value in the firstused field that is translated back on header read. The
special value is only required in the case of an empty 64k attr block. A
value of zero is used because firstused is initialized to the block size
and grows backwards from there. Furthermore, the attribute block header
occupies the first bytes of the block. Thus, a value of zero has no
other legitimate meaning for this structure. Two new conversion helpers
are created to manage the conversion of firstused to and from disk.
