Remove /proc/cpuinfo parsing
...
- Clean up the paths for ro.revision and ro.hardware parsing
- Use ro.hardwre in ueventd instead of parsing the kernel command line

Stop using #if for conditional compilation.

Use regular 'if' to prevent bitrot.
Also remove remaining typedefs.
