Tom Cherry ec39a3f6df logd: record and replay log messages
To profile different log buffer types and configuration, this change
adds the ability to record log messages and adds a tool that will
replay those log messages through different log buffer implementations
and collect stats about the execution.

Tom Cherry 1a796bca57 logd: add a SerializedLogBuffer suitable for compression
Initial commit for a SerializedLogBuffer. The intention here is for
the serialized data to be compressed (currently using zlib) to allow
for substantially longer logs in the same memory footprint.

Tom Cherry e18346d3d9 logd: separate Chatty only vs generic LogBufferTests
Separate these tests such that future log buffer implementations can
be run against the generic tests. Use a parameterized fixture to
allow testing any number of log buffers.

Tom Cherry b398a7c85e logd: add tests for log deduplication
Fix a subtle bug that liblog event messages have a payload of int32_t,
not uint32_t, so they should only be summed to int32_t max.

Make a bunch of test improvements as well to support these.

Tom Cherry 73953968fe logd: make liblogd just the core logd functionality
liblogd: LogBuffer classes and their support, LogReaderList and
LogReaderThread
logd: liblogd + the socket code that connects liblogd to liblog and
therefore the world.

The goal here is to test liblogd offline of the socket connections or
the device.

Also, convert libaudit.c -> libaudit.cpp and modernize a bit.

Tom Cherry 68630a0dbe logd: refactor LastLogTimes a bit
There's still plenty of work that can be done here, particularly
re-doing the locking so each LogReaderThread does not mutually exclude
the others, but that's out of the scope here.

This change primarily removes the public 'mTimes' from LogBuffer and
creates a new LogReaderList class instead. It would have merged this
into LogReader, but that creates a circular dependency.

This change also removes the need to reference LogReader or
LogReaderList from LogAudit, LogKLog, and LogListener, instead relying
on LogBuffer()::log() to call LogReaderList::NotifyNewLog().

Tom Cherry 64e9016351 logd: separate LogStatistics from LogBuffer
LogStatistics is intertwined with LogBuffer, even relying on it for
thread safety. This needs to change to have a proper
LogBufferInterface, so this CL separates them. Specifically:

1) Adding a lock to LogStatistics and adding thread annotations to
ensure that data structures are protected appropriately.
2) Moving prune_rows calculation into LogStatistics so it is done
   while holding this lock.
3) Using LogStatistics instead of LogBuffer where appropriate.

Note that there should not be a significant performance regression
with this lock, as it will almost always been uncontended. If
anything, it should alleviate pressure from LogBuffer's lock.

Tom Cherry 6ec71e9253 logd: rename LogTimes -> LogReaderThread
LogTimes has evolved from being simply a store of the last timestamp
that each reader has read to being a class representing an individual
reader thread, including the thread function, so name it
appropriately.

Tom Cherry 79d54f7877 logd: remove FlushCommand
This code has evolved to the point that it LogReader::notifyNewLog()
executes FlushCommand on every socket. FlushCommand then iterates
over all log reader threads in LogTimes and flushes triggers them to
flush logs if they match the client. This can be simplified to simply
looping over all of the reads in LogTimes.

Code readability was the primary motivation here, but note that 64% of
LogReader::notifyNewLog() was spent looping over the sockets, and an
additional 78% of FlushCommand::runSocketCommand() was spent
repeatedly locking and unlocking the LogTimes lock.

Overall, this reduces the cost of LogReader::notifyNewLog() in
LogListener::onDataAvailable() from 5.91% to 2.93%. This is the
critical path for handling incoming log messages, so it's a
non-trivial savings.

Nick Kralevich be5e446791 introduce auditctl and use it to configure SELinux throttling
In an effort to ensure that our development community does not
introduce new code without corresponding SELinux changes, Android
closely monitors the number of SELinux denials which occur during
boot. This monitoring occurs both in treehugger, as well as various
dashboards. If SELinux denials are dropped during early boot, this
could result in non-determinism for the various SELinux treehugger
tests.

Introduce /system/bin/auditctl. This tool, model after
https://linux.die.net/man/8/auditctl , allows for configuring the
throttling rate for the kernel auditing system.

Remove any throttling from early boot. This will hopefully reduce
treehugger flakiness by making denial generation more predictible
during early boot.

Reapply the throttling at boot complete, to avoid denial of service
attacks against the auditing subsystem.

Delete pre-existing unittests for logd / SELinux integration. It's
intended that all throttling decisions be made in the kernel, and
shouldn't be a concern of logd.

Bug: 118815957
Test: Perform an operation which generates lots of SELinux denials,
and count how many occur before and after the time period.
