Make hot-plug/hot-unplug on PCIe Root Ports optional to allow libvirt
manage it and restrict unplug for the whole machine. This is going to
prevent user-initiated unplug in guests (Windows mostly).
Hotplug is enabled by default.
Usage:
-device pcie-root-port,hotplug=off,...
If you want to disable hot-unplug on some downstream ports of one
switch, disable hot-unplug on PCIe Root Port connected to the upstream
port as well as on the selected downstream ports.

Many places including hw/qdev-properties.h (directly or via hw/qdev.h)
actually need only hw/qdev-core.h. Include hw/qdev-core.h there

hw/qdev.h is actually pointless: all it does is include hw/qdev-core.h

Replace the remaining uses of hw/qdev.h by hw/qdev-properties.h.

During boot, linux would sometimes overwrites control of a powered off

-monitor stdio disk.qcow2

Balloon is deleted during guest boot.
To fix, save control beforehand and check that power
or led state actually change before ejecting.
Note: this is more a hack than a solution, ideally we'd
find a better way to detect ejects, or move away
from ejects completely and instead monitor whether
it's safe to delete device due to e.g. its power state.

pci_bus_is_root() currently relies on a method in the PCIBusClass.
But it's always known if a PCI bus is a root bus when we create it, so
using a dynamic method is overkill.
This replaces it with an IS_ROOT bit in a new flags field, which is set on
root buses and otherwise clear. As a bonus this removes the special
is_root logic from pci_expander_bridge, since it already creates its bus
as a root bus.

Claim ACS support in the generic PCIe root port to allow
passthrough of individual functions of a device to different
guests (in a nested virt.setting) with VFIO.
Without this patch, all functions of a device, such as all VFs of
an SR/IOV device, will end up in the same IOMMU group.
A similar situation occurs on Windows with Hyper-V.
In the single function device case, it also has a small cosmetic
benefit in that the root port itself is not grouped with
the device. VFIO handles that situation in that binding rules
only apply to endpoints, so it does not limit passthrough in
those cases.

Introduce and use the "unplug" callback.
This is a preparation for multi-stage hotplug handlers, whereby the bus
hotplug handler is overwritten by the machine hotplug handler. This handler
will then pass control to the bus hotplug handler. So to get this running
cleanly, we also have to make sure to go via the hotplug handler chain when
actually unplugging a device after an unplug request. Lookup the hotplug
handler and call "unplug".

Note for libvirt testing that pcie-root-port controllers are given
default names like "pci.7" which don't play well with using the
"-set device.$name.$prop=$value" options accessible to us via
<qemu:commandline> options. The solution is to add an <alias> to the
pcie-root-port <controller>, for example:
<controller type='pci' index='7' model='pcie-root-port'>

<alias name='ua-gfx0'/>
<address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x02' function='0x5'/>

The "ua-" here is a mandatory prefix. We can then use:

<qemu:arg value='device.ua-gfx0.x-speed=8'/>
<qemu:arg value='-set'/>
<qemu:arg value='device.ua-gfx0.x-width=16'/>

or, without an alias, set globals such as:

<qemu:arg value='-global'/>
<qemu:arg value='pcie-root-port.x-speed=8'/>
<qemu:arg value='-global'/>

In the past, we prioritized IOMMU migration so that we have such a
priority order:
IOMMU > PCI Devices
When migrating a guest with both vIOMMU and a pcie-root-port, we'll
always migrate vIOMMU first, since pci buses will be seen to have the
same priority of general PCI devices.
That's problematic.
The thing is that PCI bus number information is stored in the root port,
and that is needed by vIOMMU during post_load(), e.g., to figure out
context entry for a device. If we don't have correct bus numbers for
devices, we won't be able to recover device state of the DMAR memory
regions, and things will be messed up.
So let's boost the PCIe root ports to be even with higher priority:
PCIe Root Port > IOMMU > PCI Devices
A smoke test shows that this patch fixes bug 1538953.
Also, apply this rule to all the PCI bus/bridge devices: ioh3420,
xio3130_downstream, xio3130_upstream, pcie_pci_bridge, pci-pci bridge,
i82801b11.
I noted that we set pcie_pci_bridge_dev_vmstate twice. Clean that up
together.

The "i82801b11-bridge" device model is a descendant of "base-pci-bridge"
(TYPE_PCI_BRIDGE). However, unlike other similar devices, such as
- pci-bridge,
- pcie-pci-bridge,
- PCIE Root Port,
- xio3130 switch upstream and downstream ports,
- dec-21154-p2p-bridge,
- pbm-bridge,
- xilinx-pcie-root,
"i82801b11-bridge" does not clear the bridge specific registers at
platform reset.
This is a problem because devices on "i82801b11-bridge" continue to
respond to config space cycles after platform reset, when addressed with
the bus number that was previously programmed into the secondary bus
number register of "i82801b11-bridge". This error breaks OVMF's search for
extra (PXB) root buses, for example.
The device class reset method for "i82801b11-bridge" is currently NULL;
set it directly to pci_bridge_reset(), like the last three bridge models
in the above listing do.

If we try to use more pcie_root_ports then available slots
and an IO hint is passed to the port, QEMU crashes because
we try to init the "IO hint" capability even if the device
is not created.
Fix it by checking for error before adding the capability,
so QEMU can fail gracefully.

The bus pointer in PCIDevice is basically redundant with QOM information.
It's always initialized to the qdev_get_parent_bus(), the only difference
is the type.
Therefore this patch eliminates the field, instead creating a pci_get_bus()
helper to do the type mangling to derive it conveniently from the QOM
Device object underneath.

pci_bus_init(), pci_bus_new_inplace(), pci_bus_new() and pci_register_bus()
are misleadingly named. They're not used for initializing *any* PCI bus,
but only for a root PCI bus.
Non-root buses - i.e. ones under a logical PCI to PCI bridge - are instead
created with a direct qbus_create_inplace() (see pci_bridge_initfn()).
This patch renames the functions to make it clear they're only used for
a root bus.

Add INTERFACE_CONVENTIONAL_PCI_DEVICE to all direct subtypes of
TYPE_PCI_DEVICE, except:
1) The ones that already have INTERFACE_PCIE_DEVICE set:
* base-xhci
* e1000e
* nvme
* pvscsi
* vfio-pci
* virtio-pci
* vmxnet3
2) base-pci-bridge
Not all PCI bridges are Conventional PCI devices, so
INTERFACE_CONVENTIONAL_PCI_DEVICE is added only to the subtypes
that are actually Conventional PCI:
* dec-21154-p2p-bridge
* i82801b11-bridge
* pbm-bridge
* pci-bridge
The direct subtypes of base-pci-bridge not touched by this patch
are:
* xilinx-pcie-root: Already marked as PCIe-only.
* pcie-pci-bridge: Already marked as PCIe-only.
* pcie-port: all non-abstract subtypes of pcie-port are already
marked as PCIe-only devices.
3) megasas-base
Not all megasas devices are Conventional PCI devices, so the
interface names are added to the subclasses registered by
megasas_register_types(), according to information in the
megasas_devices[] array.
"megasas-gen2" already implements INTERFACE_PCIE_DEVICE, so add
INTERFACE_CONVENTIONAL_PCI_DEVICE only to "megasas".

QEMU with the pcie-pci-bridge device crashes if the guest board doesn't support MSI,
e.g. 'qemu-system-ppc64 -M prep -device pcie-pci-bridge'.
This is caused by wrong pcie-pci-bridge instantiation error handling. This patch fixes this issue
by falling back to legacy INTx if MSI is not available.
Also set the bridge's 'msi' property default value to 'auto' in order to trigger errors
only when user explicitly set msi=on.
