Ben Dooks a0e0adb96e [ARM] 3034/1: S3C2410 - fix size of devices in devs.c
Patch from Ben Dooks

From: Guillaume GOURAT <guillaume.gourat@nexvision.fr>

A number of devices have an extra byte on the
end of their areas due to mis-calculating the
.end field of their resources

Ben Dooks 42d3a120fe [ARM] 3033/1: S3C2410 - add generic gpio_cfgpin options
Patch from Ben Dooks

Add generic values for the parameters to the
s3c2410_gpio_cfgpin() function, so that a caller
does not need to know the exact constant for
the specified pin.

This is very useful for the case where a driver
is passed a gpio pin number and needs to reconfigure
the pin's function.

Ben Dooks b048dbf4d4 [ARM] 3027/1: BAST - reduce NAND timings slightly
Patch from Ben Dooks

The current Simtec BAST nand area timings are a little

so reduce the timings slightly to bring them into the
acceptable range.

Russell King 664399e1fb [ARM] Wrap calls to descriptor handlers
This is part of Thomas Gleixner's generic IRQ patch, which converts
ARM to use the generic IRQ subsystem. Here, we wrap calls to
desc->handler() in an inline function, desc_handle_irq(). This
reduces the size of Thomas' patch since the changes become more
localised.

Dimitry Andric 62ee914ef2 [ARM] 2850/1: Remove duplicate UART I/O mapping from s3c2410_iodesc
Patch from Dimitry Andric

This patch removes the initial UART I/O mapping from s3c2410_iodesc,
since the same mapping is already done in the function s3c24xx_init_io
in the file arch/arm/mach-s3c2410/cpu.c, through the s3c_iodesc array.
I'm not sure if duplicate mappings do any harm, but it's simply
redundant. Also, in s3c2440.c the UART I/O mapping is NOT done.
Additionally, I put a comma behind the last mapping, to ease
copy/pasting stuff around, and make the style consistent with
s3c2440.c and other files.

Albrecht Dre 105bb2698b [PATCH] ARM: 2694/1: [s3c2410/dma] release irq properly to fix kernel oops
Patch from Albrecht Dre

Problem:
When a module requests a DMA channel via the function s3c2410_dma_request(), this function requests the appropriate irq under the name of the client module. When the client module is unloaded, it calls s3c2410_dma_free() which does not free the irq. Consequently, when e.g. running "cat /proc/interrupts", the irq owner points to freed memory, leading to a kernel oops.

even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git

3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early
git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good
infrastructure for it.

Let it rip!
