passes several uninitialized stack variables to this routine, expecting
them to be filled in. In the event that something unexpected happens when
reading from the chip, we end up doing a pr_debug of the value passed in,
revealing whatever garbage happened to be on the stack.
Change the pr_debug to match what happens in the 'success' case, where we
assign buf[1] to *data.

This is similar to the Terratec H7. It works with the same az6007 firmware as
the former, however the drx-k firmware of the H7 will NOT work. Hence use
a different firmware name. The firmware does not need to exist as the one in
the eeprom is just fine as long as the h7 one doesn't get loaded, but maybe
some day someone wants to load it (the one from the h5 would work too).
Also since the config entry is now different anyway disable support for rc.
AFAIK the Technisat remote (TS35) is RC5 and the code (which a code comment
claims doesn't work anyway) only would handle NEC hence it's pointless creating
a device and polling it if we already know it can't work.
CI is untested.
Originally based on idea found on
http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/TechniSat_CableStar_Combo_HD_CI claiming
only id needs to be added (but failed to mention it only worked because the
driver couldn't find the h7 drx-k firmware...).

Hi,
This patch uses the driver from openpli[1] as a template to restore the remote control support.
I had to divert from the original to use the in kernel rc protocol decoder. The key repetition does,
not seem to work but I cant find the problem in the driver. As a raw rc provider, no key table is
hardcoded.

There are three drivers with *it913x name on it, and they all

a tuner, at it913x.c;
a frontend: it913x-fe.c;
a bridge: it913x.c, renamed to dvb_usb_it913x by the

This is confusing. Even more confusing are the two .c files with
the same name under different directories, with different contents
and different functions. So, prepend the tuner one.
This also breaks the out-of-tree compilation system.

I just made commit: "dvb_usb_v2: rework USB streaming logic" that
breaks that driver PID filter.
it913x driver checks use of PID filter directly from DVB USB v2 core
internal variable "adap->pid_filtering" and stores it to own state.
Calling order of .pid_filter_ctrl() and .pid_filter() was changed
and due to that state was updated too late. Update state earlier.
TODO: checking PID filter usage from DVB USB v2 is not very good idea
as PID filter callbacks are called only when PID filter is enabled.

Control flow order changed a little bit. HW PID filter is now
disabled also when streaming is stopped - earlier it was just
set only when streaming was started.
Control flow is now:
* set streaming status bit
* submit USB streaming packets
* enable HW PID filter
* ask device to start streaming
* N x add PID to device HW PID filter
... streaming video ...
* N x remove PID from device HW PID filter
* ask device to stop streaming
* disable HW PID filter
* kill USB streaming packets
* clear streaming status bit

There was sync mutex which was held over userspace. That is very
wrong and could cause deadlock if different userspace process is
used to "unlock". Wait queue seems to be correct solution for
that kind of synchronizing issue so use it instead.

Fixes error: dvb_usb_v2: pid_filter() failed=-4
error code -4 is EINTR, Interrupted system call
That error blocks I/O in some cases as -EINTR error was returned
by the mutex which was protecting USB control messages. We want
configure hardware to sleep mode on every case after tuning is
stopped. That kind of behavior blocks it, leaving hardware some
unwanted state in worst case.
That error was seen every time when af9015 was plugged to USB1.1
which leads use of hardware PID filters. Stop tuning (tzap) with
ctrl+c failed as driver tries to remove hardware PID filters.
Tested with every hardware which uses routine in question.

The RC_TYPE_* defines are currently used both where a single protocol is
expected and where a bitmap of protocols is expected.
Functions like rc_keydown() and functions which add/remove entries to the
keytable want a single protocol. Future userspace APIs would also
benefit from numeric protocols (rather than bitmap ones). Keytables are
smaller if they can use a small(ish) integer rather than a bitmap.
Other functions or struct members (e.g. allowed_protos,
enabled_protocols, etc) accept multiple protocols and need a bitmap.
Using different types reduces the risk of programmer error. Using a
protocol enum whereever possible also makes for a more future-proof
user-space API as we don't need to worry about a sufficient number of
bits being available (e.g. in structs used for ioctl() calls).
The use of both a number and a corresponding bit is dalso one in e.g.
the input subsystem as well (see all the references to set/clear bit when
changing keytables for example).
This patch separate the different usages in preparation for
upcoming patches.
Where a single protocol is expected, enum rc_type is used; where one or more
protocol(s) are expected, something like u64 is used.
The patch has been rewritten so that the format of the sysfs "protocols"
file is no longer altered (at the loss of some detail). The file itself
should probably be deprecated in the future though.
