Factors out some boilerplate code for drivers doing the default thing
for platform driver registration. Drivers using platform_driver_probe
or an initcall other than module_init can't be converted.

If the twl4030-madc device wasn't registered, and another device, such
as twl4030-madc-hwmon, calls twl4030_madc_conversion() a NULL pointer is
dereferenced.

Worst case this fixes the following error:

Best case it prevents a crash

A mutex is locked on entry into twl4030_madc_conversion().
Immediate return on some error conditions leaves the
mutex locked.
This patch ensures that mutex is always unlocked before
leaving the function.

Introducing a driver for MADC on TWL4030 powerIC. MADC stands for monitoring
ADC. This driver monitors the real time conversion of analog signals like
battery temperature, battery cuurent etc.
