hotcpu_notifier(), cpu_notifier(), __hotcpu_notifier(), __cpu_notifier(), register_hotcpu_notifier(), register_cpu_notifier(), __register_hotcpu_notifier(), __register_cpu_notifier(), unregister_hotcpu_notifier(), unregister_cpu_notifier(), __unregister_hotcpu_notifier(), __unregister_cpu_notifier() are unused now. Remove them and all related code. Remove also the now pointless cpu notifier error injection mechanism. The states can be executed step by step and error rollback is the same as cpu down, so any state transition can be tested w/o requiring the notifier error injection. Some CPU hotplug states are kept as they are (ab)used for hotplug state tracking. Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
