![]() Nothing was setting info->otg.cable, so the extcon_get_cable_state_ calls on it would always return -EINVAL. This commit fixes this by actually setting info->otg.cable using the new extcon_get_extcon_dev_by_cable_id function. This commit also makes failing to register the extcon notifier for the USB_HOST cable an error rather then a warning, because we MUST have this notfier to properly disable the VBUS path when in host mode so that we're not drawing current from the 5V boost converter which is supplying power to the otg port when in host mode. Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
