This fixes reloading of the GPIO driver for the same platform device instance as created by the exar UART driver: First of all, the driver sets drvdata to its own value during probing and does not restore the original value on exit. But this won't help anyway as the core clears drvdata after the driver left. Set the platform device parent instead. Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
