CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev*
markings need to be removed.
This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata,
and __devexit from these drivers.
Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me
in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand.

This branch contains a largeish set of updates of power management and
clock setup. The bulk of it is for OMAP/AM33xx platforms, but also a
few around hotplug/suspend/resume on Exynos.
It includes a split-up of some of the OMAP clock data into separate
files which adds to the diffstat, but gross delta is fairly reasonable.

Based on earlier discussions[1] we attempted to find a suitable
location for the omap DMA header in commit 2b6c4e73 (ARM: OMAP:
DMA: Move plat/dma.h to plat-omap/dma-omap.h) until the conversion
to dmaengine is complete.
Unfortunately that was before I was able to try to test compile
of the ARM multiplatform builds for omap2+, and the end result
was not very good.
So I'm creating yet another all over the place patch to cut the
last dependency for building omap2+ for ARM multiplatform. After
this, we have finally removed the driver dependencies to the
arch/arm code, except for few drivers that are being worked on.
The other option was to make the <plat-omap/dma-omap.h> path
to work, but we'd have to add some new header directory to for
multiplatform builds.
Or we would have to manually include arch/arm/plat-omap/include
again from arch/arm/Makefile for omap2+.
Neither of these alternatives sound appealing as they will
likely lead addition of various other headers exposed to the
drivers, which we want to avoid for the multiplatform kernels.
Since we already have a minimal include/linux/omap-dma.h,
let's just use that instead and add a note to it to not
use the custom omap DMA functions any longer where possible.
Note that converting omap DMA to dmaengine depends on
dmaengine supporting automatically incrementing the FIFO
address at the device end, and converting all the remaining
legacy drivers. So it's going to be few more merge windows.

Various cleanups and enhancements are made to core Tegra code towards the
aim of including Tegra in a multi-platform ARM kernel:
RTC, timer, and TWD are configured via device tree.
SPARSE_IRQ is enabled.
Tegra's debug_ll options are simplified, and the macros brought into
line with other multi-platform implementations, and moved to the new
common location.
Two headers still need to be eliminated in order to include Tegra in a
multi-platform kernel/ <mach/{clk,powergate}.h>. A new common API needs
to be invented to replace parts of clk.h. powergate.h might be replaced
by regulators; this needs more investigation.
This pull request is based on tegra-for-3.8-dt, followed by a merge of
arm-soc's devel/debug_ll_init branch.

Merge tag 'tegra-for-3.8-single-zimage' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/swarren/linux-tegra into next/multiplatform
From Stephen Warren:
ARM: tegra: single-zImage preparation work
Various cleanups and enhancements are made to core Tegra code towards the
aim of including Tegra in a multi-platform ARM kernel:
RTC, timer, and TWD are configured via device tree.
SPARSE_IRQ is enabled.
Tegra's debug_ll options are simplified, and the macros brought into
line with other multi-platform implementations, and moved to the new
common location.
Two headers still need to be eliminated in order to include Tegra in a
multi-platform kernel/ <mach/{clk,powergate}.h>. A new common API needs
to be invented to replace parts of clk.h. powergate.h might be replaced
by regulators; this needs more investigation.
This pull request is based on tegra-for-3.8-dt, followed by a merge of
arm-soc's devel/debug_ll_init branch.

This patch moves the notification chain for updates to the device tree
from the powerpc/pseries code to the base OF code. This makes this
functionality available to all architectures.
Additionally the notification chain is updated to allow notifications
for property add/remove/update. To make this work a pointer to a new
struct (of_prop_reconfig) is passed to the routines in the notification chain.
The of_prop_reconfig property contains a pointer to the node containing the
property and a pointer to the property itself. In the case of property
updates, the property pointer refers to the new property.

struct s3c2410_dma_client gets defined multiple times as it is defined
in more than one header file. Changing it at the header file level causes
many more build breakages as they are interdependent in a complex way.
Hence fixing this problem by using the mach version of the header file.

Drivers should not use cpu_is_omap or cpu_class_is_omap macros,
they should be private to the platform init code. And we'll be
removing plat/cpu.h and only have a private soc.h for the
arch/arm/*omap* code.
This patch is intended as preparation for the core omap changes
and removes the need to include plat/cpu.h from several drivers.
This is needed for the ARM common zImage support.
These changes are OK to do because:
- omap-rng.c does not need plat/cpu.h
- omap-aes.c and omap-sham.c get the proper platform_data
passed to them so they don't need extra checks in the driver
- omap-dma.c and omap-pcm.c can test the arch locally as
omap1 and omap2 cannot be compiled together because of
conflicting compiler flags

This branch contains updates to OMAP and Marvell platforms (kirkwood,
dove, mvebu) that came in after we had done the big multiplatform merges,
so they were kept separate from the rest, and not separated into the
traditional topics of cleanup/driver/platform features.
For OMAP, the updates are:
- Runtime PM conversions for the GPMC and RNG IP blocks
- Preparation patches for the OMAP common clock framework conversion
- clkdev alias additions required by other drivers
- Performance Monitoring Unit (PMU) support for OMAP2, 3, and non-4430 OMAP4
- OMAP hwmod code and data improvements
- Preparation patches for the IOMMU runtime PM conversion
- Preparation patches for OMAP4 full-chip retention support
For Kirkwood/Dove/mvebu:
- New driver for "address decoder controller" for mvebu, which
is a piece of hardware that configures addressable devices and
peripherals. First user is the boot rom aperture on armada XP since
it is needed for SMP support.
- New device tree bindings for peripherals such as gpio-fan, iconnect
nand, mv_cesa and the above address decoder controller.
- Some defconfig updates, mostly to enable new DT boards and a few drivers.
- New drivers using the pincontrol subsystem for dove, kirkwood and mvebu
- New clean gpio driver for mvebu

For IPsec encryption, in the case when:
-the input buffer is fragmented (edesc->src_nents > 0)
-the output buffer is not fragmented (edesc->dst_nents = 0)
the ICV is not output in the link table, but after the encrypted payload.
Copying the ICV must be avoided in this case; consequently the condition
edesc->dma_len > 0 must be more specific, i.e. must depend on the type
of the output buffer - fragmented or not.
Testing was performed by modifying testmgr to support src != dst,
since currently native kernel IPsec does in-place encryption
(src == dst).

This patch adds the driver for interacting with the 842
compression accelerator on IBM Power7+ systems.
The device is a child of the Platform Facilities Option (PFO)
and shows up as a child of the IBM VIO bus.
The compression/decompression API takes the same arguments
as existing compression methods like lzo and deflate. The 842
hardware operates on 4K hardware pages and the driver breaks up
input on 4K boundaries to submit it to the hardware accelerator.

SHARE_WAIT, whilst more optimal for association-less crypto,
has the ability to start thrashing the CCB descriptor/key
caches, given high levels of traffic across multiple security
associations (and thus keys).
Switch to using the SERIAL sharing type, which prefers
the last used CCB for the SA. On a 2-DECO platform

This patch adds support for retrieving and printing of
SEC ERA information. It is useful for knowing beforehand
what features exist from the SEC point of view on a
certain SoC. Only era-s 1 to 4 are currently supported;
other eras will appear as unknown.

The caam job rings (input/output job ring) are allocated using
dma_map_single(). These job rings can be visualized as the ring
buffers in which the jobs are en-queued/de-queued. The s/w enqueues
the jobs in input job ring which h/w dequeues and after processing
it copies the jobs in output job ring. Software then de-queues the
job from output ring. Using dma_map/unmap_single() is not preferred
way to allocate memory for this type of requirements because this
adds un-necessary complexity.
Example, if bounce buffer (SWIOTLB) will get used then to make any
change visible in this memory to other processing unit requires
dmap_unmap_single() or dma_sync_single_for_cpu/device(). The
dma_unmap_single() can not be used as this will free the bounce
buffer, this will require changing the job rings on running system
and I seriously doubt that it will be not possible or very complex
to implement. Also using dma_sync_single_for_cpu/device() will also
add unnecessary complexity.
The simple and preferred way is using dma_alloc_coherent() for these
type of memory requirements.
This resolves the Linux boot crash issue when "swiotlb=force" is set
in bootargs on systems which have memory more than 4G.

there is no noticeable benefit for multiple cores to process one
job ring's output ring: in fact, we can benefit from cache effects
of having the back-half stay on the core that receives a particular
ring's interrupts, and further relax general contention and the
locking involved with reading outring_used, since tasklets run
atomically.

Memory barriers are implied by the i/o register write implementation
(at least on Power). So we can remove the redundant wmb() in
caam_jr_enqueue, and, in dequeue(), hoist the h/w done notification
write up to before we need to increment the head of the ring, and
save an smp_mb.

It has been observed that in zero-loss benchmarks, when a
slow traffic rate is being tested, the IRQ timer coalescing
parameter was set too high, and the ethernet controller
would start dropping packets because the job ring back half
wouldn't be executed in time before the ethernet controller
would fill its buffers, thereby significantly reducing the
zero-loss performance figures.
Empirical testing has shown that the best zero-loss performance
is achieved when IRQ coalescing is set to minimum values and/or
turned off, since apparently the job ring driver already implements
an adequately-performing general-purpose IRQ mitigation strategy
in software.
Whilst we could go with minimal count (2-8) and timing settings
(192-256), we prefer just turning h/w coalescing altogether off
to minimize setkey latency (due to split key generation), and
for consistent cross-SoC performance (the SEC vs. core clock
ratio changes).

Add support for auto-loading of crypto drivers based on cpuid features.
This enables auto-loading of the VIA and Intel specific drivers
for AES, hashing and CRCs.
Requires the earlier infrastructure patch to add x86 modinfo.
I kept it all in a single patch for now.
I dropped the printks when the driver cpuid doesn't match (imho
drivers never should print anything in such a case)
One drawback is that udev doesn't know if the drivers are used or not,
so they will be unconditionally loaded at boot up. That's better
than not loading them at all, like it often happens.

Some later SEC v3.x are equipped with a second IRQ line.
By correctly assigning IRQ affinity, this feature can be
used to increase performance on dual core parts, like the
MPC8572E and P2020E.
The existence of the 2nd IRQ is determined from the device
node's interrupt property. If present, the driver remaps
two of four channels, which in turn makes those channels
trigger their interrupts on the 2nd line instead of the first.
To handle single- and dual-IRQ combinations efficiently,
talitos gets two new interrupt handlers and back-half workers.

Fixed up to not register HMAC algorithms on sec2.0 devices.
Rationale (from Lee):
on an 8349E Rev1.1, there's a problem with hmac for any talitos
hmac sequence requiring an intermediate hash context (Pointer
DWORD 1); the result is an incorrect hmac. An intermediate hash
context is required for something longer than (65536-blocksize),
and for other cases when update/finup/final are used inefficiently.
Interestingly, a normal hash (without hmac) works perfectly
when using an intermediate context.

The CDPR (Current Descriptor Pointer Register) can be unreliable
when trying to locate an offending descriptor. Handle that case by
(a) not OOPSing, and (b) reverting to the machine internal copy of
the descriptor header in order to report the correct execution unit

Note: printing all execution units' ISRs is not effective because it
results in an internal time out (ITO) error and the EU resetting its

When loading aes via the module alias, a padlock module failing to
load due to missing hardware is not particularly notable. With
v2.6.27-rc1~1107^2~14 (crypto: padlock - Make module loading quieter
when hardware isn't available, 2008-07-03), the padlock-aes module
suppresses the relevant messages when the "quiet" flag is in use; but
better to suppress this particular message completely, since the
administrator can already distinguish such errors by the absence of a
message indicating initialization failing or succeeding.
This avoids occasional messages in syslog of the form

Key sharing is enabled by default in the shared descriptor.
Using CBC decrypt, AES has to alter the key in order to decrypt.
During high traffic decryption rates, i.e, when sharing starts to
take place, we need to use a different OPERATION option to tell AES
that the key was already altered by the PRIOR descriptor - we need
the following kind of logic:
if ( shared )
operation where AES uses decryption key (DK=1)
else
operation where AES uses encryption key (DK=0)
this patch implements this logic using a conditional and

This patch fixes 2 hmac inter-dependent bugs.
1. "omap-sham: hash-in-progress is stored in hw format" commit introduced
optimization where temporary hash had been stored in OMAP specific format
(big endian).
For SHA1 it is different to real hash format, which is little endian.
Final HMAC value was calculated using incorrect hash.
Because CONFIG_CRYPTO_MANAGER_TESTS was disabled this error remained
unnoticed. After enabling this option, bug has been found.
2. HMAC was calculated using temporrary hash value.
For a single-request updates, temporary hash was the final one and
HMAC result was correct. But in fact only the final hash had to be used.
All crypto tests for HMAC produces only single request and
could not catch the problem. This problem is fixed here.

The SPAcc's have 2 equally sized FIFO's - a command FIFO and a status
FIFO. The command FIFO takes the requests that are to be performed and
the status FIFO reports the results. It is possible to get into the
situation where there are more free spaces in the command FIFO than the
status FIFO if we don't empty the status FIFO quickly enough resulting
in a possible overflow of the status FIFO. This can result in incorrect
status being reported in the status FIFO.
Make sure that when we are submitting requests the number of requests
that have been dispatched but not yet popped from the status FIFO does
not exceed the size of a single FIFO.

DMA is set to use burst mode also for source channel. It should
descrease memory bandwidth needs.
DMA synchronization is set to use prefetch mechanism. SHAM block is behind
L4 bus and it doesn't have fifo. SHAM block is stalling as long as the new
data is available. It takes time to fetch data from memory and transfer it
via L4 bus. With prefetch enabled, data is waiting in DMA fifo and SHAM block
receives new data block faster.
This increases SHA processing speed up to 30 percent depending on the
bus / memory load.

.name, .match_table and .owner are duplicated in both of_platform_driver

of_platform_driver and converts all users to the device_driver members.
This patch is a pretty mechanical change. The usage model doesn't change
and if any drivers have been missed, or if anything has been fixed up
incorrectly, then it will fail with a compile time error, and the fixup
will be trivial. This patch looks big and scary because it touches so

SEC h/w versions 2.1 and above support sha224 via explicit instruction.
Performing sha224 ahashes on earlier versions is still possible because

context self-initialization, and perform it manually in s/w instead.

percpu.h is included by sched.h and module.h and thus ends up being
included when building most .c files. percpu.h includes slab.h which
in turn includes gfp.h making everything defined by the two files
universally available and complicating inclusion dependencies.
percpu.h -> slab.h dependency is about to be removed. Prepare for
this change by updating users of gfp and slab facilities include those
headers directly instead of assuming availability. As this conversion
needs to touch large number of source files, the following script is
used as the basis of conversion.
http://userweb.kernel.org/~tj/misc/slabh-sweep.py
The script does the followings.
* Scan files for gfp and slab usages and update includes such that
only the necessary includes are there. ie. if only gfp is used,
gfp.h, if slab is used, slab.h.
* When the script inserts a new include, it looks at the include
blocks and try to put the new include such that its order conforms
to its surrounding. It's put in the include block which contains
core kernel includes, in the same order that the rest are ordered -
alphabetical, Christmas tree, rev-Xmas-tree or at the end if there
doesn't seem to be any matching order.
* If the script can't find a place to put a new include (mostly
because the file doesn't have fitting include block), it prints out
an error message indicating which .h file needs to be added to the
file.
The conversion was done in the following steps.
1. The initial automatic conversion of all .c files updated slightly
over 4000 files, deleting around 700 includes and adding ~480 gfp.h
and ~3000 slab.h inclusions. The script emitted errors for ~400
files.
2. Each error was manually checked. Some didn't need the inclusion,
some needed manual addition while adding it to implementation .h or
embedding .c file was more appropriate for others. This step added
inclusions to around 150 files.
3. The script was run again and the output was compared to the edits
from #2 to make sure no file was left behind.
4. Several build tests were done and a couple of problems were fixed.
e.g. lib/decompress_*.c used malloc/free() wrappers around slab
APIs requiring slab.h to be added manually.
5. The script was run on all .h files but without automatically
editing them as sprinkling gfp.h and slab.h inclusions around .h
files could easily lead to inclusion dependency hell. Most gfp.h
inclusion directives were ignored as stuff from gfp.h was usually
wildly available and often used in preprocessor macros. Each
slab.h inclusion directive was examined and added manually as
necessary.
6. percpu.h was updated not to include slab.h.
7. Build test were done on the following configurations and failures
were fixed. CONFIG_GCOV_KERNEL was turned off for all tests (as my
distributed build env didn't work with gcov compiles) and a few
more options had to be turned off depending on archs to make things
build (like ipr on powerpc/64 which failed due to missing writeq).
* x86 and x86_64 UP and SMP allmodconfig and a custom test config.
* powerpc and powerpc64 SMP allmodconfig
* sparc and sparc64 SMP allmodconfig
* ia64 SMP allmodconfig
* s390 SMP allmodconfig
* alpha SMP allmodconfig
* um on x86_64 SMP allmodconfig
8. percpu.h modifications were reverted so that it could be applied as
a separate patch and serve as bisection point.
Given the fact that I had only a couple of failures from tests on step
6, I'm fairly confident about the coverage of this conversion patch.
If there is a breakage, it's likely to be something in one of the arch
headers which should be easily discoverable easily on most builds of
the specific arch.

This patch converts the padlock-sha implementation to shash.
In doing so the existing mechanism of storing the data until
final is no longer viable as we do not have a way of allocating
data in crypto_shash_init and then reliably freeing it.
This is just as well because a better way of handling the problem
is to hash everything but the last chunk using normal sha code
and then provide the intermediate result to the padlock device.
This is good enough because the primary application of padlock-sha
is IPsec and there the data is laid out in the form of an hmac
header followed by the rest of the packet. In essence we can
provide all the data to the padlock as the hmac header only needs
to be hashed once.

With the mandatory algorithm testing at registration, we have
now created a deadlock with algorithms requiring fallbacks.
This can happen if the module containing the algorithm requiring
fallback is loaded first, without the fallback module being loaded
first. The system will then try to test the new algorithm, find
that it needs to load a fallback, and then try to load that.
As both algorithms share the same module alias, it can attempt
to load the original algorithm again and block indefinitely.
As algorithms requiring fallbacks are a special case, we can fix
this by giving them a different module alias than the rest. Then
it's just a matter of using the right aliases according to what
algorithms we're trying to find.

Previous commit for interrupt mitigation moved the done interrupt
acknowlegement from the isr to the talitos_done tasklet.
This patch moves the done interrupt acknowledgement back
into the isr so that done interrupts will always be acknowledged.
This covers the case for acknowledging interrupts for channel done processing
that has actually already been completed by the tasklet prior to fielding

Resetting the control word is quite expensive. Fortunately this
isn't an issue for the common operations such as CBC and ECB as
the whole operation is done through a single call. However, modes
such as LRW and XTS have to call padlock over and over again for
one operation which really hurts if each call resets the control
word.
This patch uses an idea by Sebastian Siewior to store the last
control word used on a CPU and only reset the control word if
that changes.
Note that any task switch automatically resets the control word
so we only need to be accurate with regard to the stored control
word when no task switches occur.

SEC version 2.1 and above adds the capability to do the IPSec ICV
memcmp in h/w. Results of the cmp are written back in the descriptor
header, along with the done status. A new callback is added that
checks these ICCR bits instead of performing the memcmp on the core,
and is enabled by h/w capability.

After testing on different parts, another condition was added
before using h/w auth check because different
SEC revisions require different handling.
The SEC 3.0 allows a more flexible link table where
the auth data can span separate link table entries.
The SEC 2.4/2.1 does not support this case.
So a test was added in the decrypt routine
for a fragmented case; the h/w auth check is disallowed for
revisions not having the extent in the link table;
in this case the hw auth check is done by software.
A portion of a previous change for SEC 3.0 link table handling
was removed since it became dead code with the hw auth check supported.
This seems to be the best compromise for using hw auth check
on supporting SEC revisions; it keeps the link table logic
simpler for the fragmented cases.

Wolfgang also found out that adding kernel_fpu_begin() and kernel_fpu_end()
around the padlock instructions fix the oops.
Suresh wrote:
These padlock instructions though don't use/touch SSE registers, but it behaves
similar to other SSE instructions. For example, it might cause DNA faults
when cr0.ts is set. While this is a spurious DNA trap, it might cause
oops with the recent fpu code changes.
This is the code sequence that is probably causing this problem:
a) new app is getting exec'd and it is somewhere in between
start_thread() and flush_old_exec() in the load_xyz_binary()
b) At pont "a", task's fpu state (like TS_USEDFPU, used_math() etc) is
cleared.
c) Now we get an interrupt/softirq which starts using these encrypt/decrypt
routines in the network stack. This generates a math fault (as
cr0.ts is '1') which sets TS_USEDFPU and restores the math that is
in the task's xstate.
d) Return to exec code path, which does start_thread() which does
free_thread_xstate() and sets xstate pointer to NULL while
the TS_USEDFPU is still set.
e) At the next context switch from the new exec'd task to another task,
we have a scenarios where TS_USEDFPU is set but xstate pointer is null.
This can cause an oops during unlazy_fpu() in __switch_to()
Now:
1) This should happen with or with out pre-emption. Viro also encountered
similar problem with out CONFIG_PREEMPT.
2) kernel_fpu_begin() and kernel_fpu_end() will fix this problem, because
kernel_fpu_begin() will manually do a clts() and won't run in to the
situation of setting TS_USEDFPU in step "c" above.
3) This was working before the fpu changes, because its a spurious
math fault which doesn't corrupt any fpu/sse registers and the task's
math state was always in an allocated state.
With out the recent lazy fpu allocation changes, while we don't see oops,
there is a possible race still present in older kernels(for example,
while kernel is using kernel_fpu_begin() in some optimized clear/copy
page and an interrupt/softirq happens which uses these padlock
instructions generating DNA fault).
This is the failing scenario that existed even before the lazy fpu allocation
changes:
0. CPU's TS flag is set
1. kernel using FPU in some optimized copy routine and while doing
kernel_fpu_begin() takes an interrupt just before doing clts()
2. Takes an interrupt and ipsec uses padlock instruction. And we
take a DNA fault as TS flag is still set.
3. We handle the DNA fault and set TS_USEDFPU and clear cr0.ts
4. We complete the padlock routine
5. Go back to step-1, which resumes clts() in kernel_fpu_begin(), finishes
the optimized copy routine and does kernel_fpu_end(). At this point,
we have cr0.ts again set to '1' but the task's TS_USEFPU is stilll
set and not cleared.
6. Now kernel resumes its user operation. And at the next context
switch, kernel sees it has do a FP save as TS_USEDFPU is still set
and then will do a unlazy_fpu() in __switch_to(). unlazy_fpu()
will take a DNA fault, as cr0.ts is '1' and now, because we are
in __switch_to(), math_state_restore() will get confused and will
restore the next task's FP state and will save it in prev tasks's FP state.
Remember, in __switch_to() we are already on the stack of the next task
but take a DNA fault for the prev task.
This causes the fpu leakage.
Fix the padlock instruction usage by calling them inside the
context of new routines irq_ts_save/restore(), which clear/restore cr0.ts
manually in the interrupt context. This will not generate spurious DNA
in the context of the interrupt which will fix the oops encountered and
the possible FPU leakage issue.

Later SEC revision requires the link table (used for scatter/gather)
to have an extra entry to account for the total length in descriptor [4],
which contains cipher Input and ICV.
This only applies to decrypt, not encrypt.
Without this change, on 837x, a gather return/length error results
when a decryption uses a link table to gather the fragments.
This is observed by doing a ping with size of 1447 or larger with AES,
or a ping with size 1455 or larger with 3des.
So, add check for SEC compatible "fsl,3.0" for using extra link table entry.

Move s390 crypto Kconfig options to drivers/crypto/Kconfig to have all
hardware crypto devices in one place.
This also makes messing up the kernel source tree easier for some people.

Currently it is possible to select HW_RANDOM as a module and have
hifn795x built-in. This causes a build problem because hifn795x
will then call hwrng_register which isn't built-in.
This patch introduces a new config option to control the hifn795x
RNG which lets us avoid this problem.

Currently we reset the key for each segment fed to the xcrypt instructions.
This patch optimises this for CBC and ECB so that we only do this once for
each encrypt/decrypt operation.

With the impending addition of the givcipher type, both blkcipher and
ablkcipher algorithms will use it to create givcipher objects. As such
it no longer makes sense to split the system between ablkcipher and
blkcipher. In particular, both ablkcipher.c and blkcipher.c would need
to use the givcipher type which has to reside in ablkcipher.c since it
shares much code with it.
This patch merges the two Kconfig options as well as the modules into one.

crypto_blkcipher_decrypt is wrong because it does not care about
the IV.

There is no reason to keep the IV in the private structre. Instead keep
just a pointer to make the patch smaller :)
This also remove a few memcpy()s

The current PLL initalization has a number of deficiencies:
- uses fixed multiplier of 8, which overclocks the chip when using a
reference clock that operates at frequencies above 33MHz. According
to a comment in the BSD source, this is true for the external clock
on almost all every board.
- writes to a reserved bit
- doesn't follow the initialization procedure specified in chapter
6.11.1 of the HIFN hardware users guide
- doesn't allow to use the PCI clock
This patch adds a module parameter to specify the reference clock
(pci or external) and its frequency and uses that to calculate the
optimum multiplier to reach the maximal speed. By default it uses
the external clock and assumes a speed of 66MHz, which effectively
halfs the frequency currently used.
