Ulf Hansson 8c0245602c dt-bindings: power: Fix example for power-domain
The change that converted the domain-idle-states DT bindings to the
json-schema, forgot to update the corresponding example for the
power-domain binding. Let's fix it.

Ulf Hansson b203bb5f62 dt-bindings: arm: Add some constraints for PSCI nodes
There's no point allowing anything else but "psci" for the corresponding
nodename of the PSCI node, so let's make this an explicit requirement.

Moreover, let's also prevent additional properties, which also allows a
better verification of the "patternProperties" bindings for subnodes.

Rob Herring 7f464532b0 dt-bindings: Add missing 'additionalProperties: false'
Setting 'additionalProperties: false' is frequently omitted, but is
important in order to check that there aren't extra undocumented
properties in a binding.

Ideally, we'd just add this automatically and make this the default, but
there's some cases where it doesn't work. For example, if a common
schema is referenced, then properties in the common schema aren't part
of what's considered for 'additionalProperties'. Also, sometimes there
are bus specific properties such as 'spi-max-frequency' that go into
bus child nodes, but aren't defined in the child node's schema.

So let's stick with the json-schema defined default and add
'additionalProperties: false' where needed. This will be a continual
review comment and game of wack-a-mole.

A bit smaller this time around.. there are still a couple uabi
additions for vulkan waiting in the wings, but I punted on them this
cycle due to running low on time. (They should be easy enough to
rebase, and if it is a problem for anyone I can push a next+uabi
branch so that tu work can proceed.)

The bigger change is refactoring dpu resource manager and moving dpu
to use atomic global state. Other than that, it is mostly cleanups
and fixes.

Linus Torvalds a231bed226 spi/regulator: Updates for v5.7
At one point in the release cycle I managed to fat finger things and
apply some SPI fixes onto a regulator branch and merge that into the SPI
tree, then pull in a change shared with the MTD tree moving the Mediatek
quadspi driver over to become the Mediatek spi-nor driver in the SPI
tree. This has made a mess which I only just noticed while preparing
this and I can't see a sensible way to unpick things due to other
subsequent merge commits especially the pull from MTD so it looks like
the most sensible thing to do is give up and combine the two pull
requests - I hope this is OK. Sorry about this, I've changed some bits
of workflow which should hopefully help me spot such issues earlier in
 future.

Fortunately both subsystems were fairly quiet this cycle, the highlights
 are:

 regulator:

  - Support for Monoloithic Power Systems MP5416, MP8867 and MPS8869 and
    Qualcomm PMI8994 and SMB208.

 SPI:

  - Lots of enhancements for spi-fsl-dspi, including XSPI mode support,
    from Vladimir Oltean.
  - Support for amlogic Meson G12A, IBM FSI, Mediatek spi-nor (moved from
MTD), NXP i.MX8Mx, Rockchip PX30, RK3308 and RK3328, and Qualcomm
    Atheros AR934x/QCA95xx.

Linus Torvalds 4c6ef3b156 Staging/IIO driver patches for 5.7-rc1
Here is the big staging and IIO driver pull request for 5.7-rc1.

We again end up deleting more code than we added here, thanks to finally
getting rid of the old and obsolete wireless USB stuff, and the exfat
code (which is coming in again through the vfs tree in a much cleaner
version). But some code does come back, with the octeon drivers being
found to actually be used in the wild, so those deletions are now
 reverted.

Other than those major things, just loads and loads of tiny checkpatch
cleanups all over the place, along with new IIO drivers and fixes.

All have been in linux-next with no reported issues.

Convert ROHM bd71837 and bd71847 PMIC binding text docs to yaml. Split
the binding document to two separate documents (own documents for BD71837
and BD71847) as they have different amount of regulators. This way we can
better enforce the node name check for regulators. ROHM is also providing
BD71850 - which is almost identical to BD71847 - main difference is some
initial regulator states. The BD71850 can be driven by same driver and it
has same buck/LDO setup as BD71847 - add it to BD71847 binding document and
introduce compatible for it.

Linus Torvalds 32db9f10d5 ARM: DT and driver fixes for v5.6
For the devicetree files, there are a total of 20 patches, almost
 entirely for 32-bit machines:

 - The Allwinner/sun9i r40 SoC dtsi file contains a number of issues,
both for correctness and for style that are addressed in separate
patches. This causes most of the changed lines of the DT updates
   this time.

 - More Allwinner updates fixing the identification of the security
system on sun8i/A33, a recent regression of the A83t ethernet, and a
few board specific issues on the TBS-A711 macine.

 - Several bug fixes for OMAP dts files, most notably fixing the timings
for the NAND flash on the Nokia N900 that regressed a while ago after
the move to configuring them from DT. Some other OMAPs now set the
correct dma limits on the L3 bus, and a regression fix addresses lost
   Ethernet on dm814x

 - One incorrect setting in the newly added Raspberry Pi Zero W that
may cause issues with the SD card controller.

 - A missing property on the bcm2835 firmware node caused incorrect
   DMA settings.

 - An old bug on the oxnas platform causing spurious interrupts is
   finally addressed.

 - A regression on the Exynos Midas board broke the OLED panel
   power supply.

 - The i.MX6 phycore SoM specified the wrong voltage for the SoC,
this is now set to the values from the datasheet.

 - Some 64-bit machines use a deprecated string to identify the PSCI
   firmware.

There are also several small code fixes addressing mostly serious
 issues:

 - Fix the sunxi rsb bus access to no longer return incorrect data when
   mixing 8 and 16 bit I/O.

 - Fix a suspend/resume regression on the OMAP2+ lcdc from a missing
   quirk in the ti-sysc driver

 - Fix a NULL pointer access from a race in the fsl dpio driver

 - Fix a v5.5 regression in the exynos-chipid driver that caused an
invalid error code probing the device on non-exynos platforms

 - Fix an out-of-bounds access in the AMD TEE driver

Miquel Raynal 245bbe80e0 SPI NOR core changes:
- move all the manufacturer specific quirks/code out of the core,
to make the core logic more readable and thus ease maintenance.
 - move the SFDP logic out of the core, it provides a better
separation between the SFDP parsing and core logic.
 - trim what is exposed in spi-nor.h. The SPI NOR controllers drivers
must not be able to use structures that are meant just for the
 SPI NOR core.
 - use the spi-mem direct mapping API to let advanced controllers
optimize the read/write operations when they support direct mapping.
 - add generic formula for the Status Register block protection
handling. It fixes some long standing locking limitations and eases
the addition of the 4bit block protection support.
 - add block protection support for flashes with 4 block protection
 bits in the Status Register.

 SPI NOR controller drivers changes:

 spi-mtk-nor driver. Merge tag 'mtk-mtd-spi-move' into spi-nor/next

Sam Ravnborg 99f155d077 dt-bindings: display: drop data-mapping from panel-dpi
data-mapping may not be the best way to describe the
data format used between panels and display interface.

Drop it from the panel-dpi binding so we do not start to rely on it.
We can then work out how to best describe this mapping and when
we know it, we can add it to this binding.

Arnd Bergmann f22940b795 Driver changes for ti-sysc for v5.7 merge window
Driver changes for ti-sysc interconnect target module driver mostly
to be able to probe display subsystem (DSS) without platform data:

 - Rename clk_enable/disable quirks to less confusing pre and post
   reset quirks

 - Enable module reset to work with modules with no sysconfig register

 - Also consider non-existing module register when matching quirks

 - Don't warn with nested ti-sysc devices

 - Implement basic SoC revision handling

David S. Miller 5ef8c66541 wireless-drivers-next patches for v5.7
Second set of patches for v5.7. Lots of cleanup patches this time, but
of course various new features as well fixes.

When merging with wireless-drivers this pull request has a conflict in:

 drivers/net/wireless/intel/iwlwifi/pcie/drv.c

To solve that just drop the changes from commit cf52c8a776 in
wireless-drivers and take the hunk from wireless-drivers-next as is.
The list of specific subsystem device IDs are not necessary after
commit d6f2134a38 (in wireless-drivers-next) anymore, the detection
is based on other characteristics of the devices.

 Major changes:

 qtnfmac

 * support WPA3 SAE and OWE in AP mode

 ath10k

 * support for getting btcoex settings from Device Tree

 * support QCA9377 SDIO device
