Arnd Bergmann f41bd6afb7 ARM: pxa: mark raumfeld init functions as __maybe_unused
The raumfeld.c file contains three similar machine definitions,
each with their own init function. If one or more of them are
disabled, we get compile-time warnings:

arm/mach-pxa/raumfeld.c:1070:123: warning: 'raumfeld_connector_init' defined but not used [-Wunused-function]
arm/mach-pxa/raumfeld.c:1082:123: warning: 'raumfeld_speaker_init' defined but not used [-Wunused-function]

This marks the functions as __maybe_unused to avoid the warnings.

Arnd Bergmann f39c42f5f9 ARM: pxa: cm-x2xx: avoid duplicate macro warnings
In an old commit, we worked around the duplicate definition of
GPIO24_SSP1_SFRM in cm-x2xx.c, which includes files for both
pxa25x and pxa27x. Apparently the problem has come back and we
now have four additional duplicate symbols that cause warnings:

In file included from /git/arm-soc/arch/arm/mach-pxa/pxa27x.h:7:0,
                 from /git/arm-soc/arch/arm/mach-pxa/cm-x2xx.c:27:
/git/arm-soc/arch/arm/mach-pxa/mfp-pxa27x.h:21:0: warning: "GPIO86_GPIO" redefined
 #define GPIO86_GPIO  MFP_CFG_IN(GPIO86, AF0)

This uses the same hack as before and undefines all symbols that
are defined more than once. Fortunately, cm-x2xx does not need
any of these.

Arnd Bergmann ddd47fbcf6 ARM: pxa: use PWM lookup table for all machines
The recent change to use a pwm lookup table for the ezx machines
was incomplete and only changed the a780 model, but not the
other ones in the same file.

This adds the missing calls to pwm_add_table().

Mauro Carvalho Chehab a71daaa10e [media] move media platform data to linux/platform_data/media
Now that media has its own subdirectory inside platform_data,
let's move the headers that are already there to such subdir.

After moving those files, the references were adjusted using this
script:

    MAIN_DIR="linux/platform_data/"
    PREV_DIR="linux/platform_data/"
    DIRS="media/"

    echo "Checking affected files" >&2
    for i in $DIRS; do
	for j in $(find include/$MAIN_DIR/$i -type f -name '*.h'); do
		 n=`basename $j`
		git grep -l $n
	done
    done|sort|uniq >files && (
	echo "Handling files..." >&2;
	echo "for i in \$(cat files|grep -v Documentation); do cat \$i | \\";
	(
		cd include/$MAIN_DIR;
		for j in $DIRS; do
			for i in $(ls $j); do
				echo "perl -ne 's,(include [\\\"\\<])$PREV_DIR($i)([\\\"\\>]),\1$MAIN_DIR$j\2\3,; print \$_' |\\";
			done;
		done;
		echo "cat > a && mv a \$i; done";
	);
	echo "Handling documentation..." >&2;
	echo "for i in MAINTAINERS \$(cat files); do cat \$i | \\";
	(
		cd include/$MAIN_DIR;
		for j in $DIRS; do
			for i in $(ls $j); do
				echo "  perl -ne 's,include/$PREV_DIR($i)\b,include/$MAIN_DIR$j\1,; print \$_' |\\";

Mauro Carvalho Chehab b5dcee225c [media] include/media: split I2C headers from V4L2 core
Currently, include/media is messy, as it contains both the V4L2 core
headers and some driver-specific headers on the same place. That makes
harder to identify what core headers should be documented and what
headers belong to I2C drivers that are included only by bridge/main
drivers that would require the functions provided by them.

Let's move those i2c specific files to its own subdirectory.

The files to move were produced via the following script:
	mkdir include/media/i2c
	(cd include/media; for i in *.h; do n=`echo $i|sed s/.h$/.c/`; if [ -e ../../drivers/media/i2c/$n ]; then echo $i; git mv $i i2c/; fi; done)
	(cd include/media; for i in *.h; do n=`echo $i|sed s/.h$/.c/`; if [ -e ../../drivers/media/*/i2c/$n ]; then echo $i; git mv $i i2c/; fi; done)
	for i in include/media/*.h; do n=`basename $i`;  (for j in $(git grep -l $n); do dirname $j; done)|sort|uniq|grep -ve '^.$' > list; num=$(wc -l list|cut -d' ' -f1); if [ $num == 1 ]; then if [ "`grep i2c list`" != "" ]; then git mv $i include/media/i2c; fi; fi; done

And the references corrected via this script:
    MAIN_DIR="media/"
    PREV_DIR="media/"
    DIRS="i2c/"

    echo "Checking affected files" >&2
    for i in $DIRS; do
	for j in $(find include/$MAIN_DIR/$i -type f -name '*.h'); do
		 n=`basename $j`
		git grep -l $n
	done
    done|sort|uniq >files && (
	echo "Handling files..." >&2;
	echo "for i in \$(cat files|grep -v Documentation); do cat \$i | \\";
	(
		cd include/$MAIN_DIR;
		for j in $DIRS; do
			for i in $(ls $j); do
				echo "perl -ne 's,(include [\\\"\\<])$PREV_DIR($i)([\\\"\\>]),\1$MAIN_DIR$j\2\3,; print \$_' |\\";
			done;
		done;
		echo "cat > a && mv a \$i; done";
	);
	echo "Handling documentation..." >&2;
	echo "for i in MAINTAINERS \$(cat files); do cat \$i | \\";
	(
		cd include/$MAIN_DIR;
		for j in $DIRS; do
			for i in $(ls $j); do
				echo "  perl -ne 's,include/$PREV_DIR($i)\b,include/$MAIN_DIR$j\1,; print \$_' |\\";
			done;
		done;

Linus Torvalds a5e1d715a8 ARM: SoC cleanups for v4.4
Again we have a sizable (but not huge) cleanup branch with a net delta of about
 -3k lines.

 Main contents here is:

  - A bunch of development/cleanup of a few PXA boards
  - Removal of bockw platforms on shmobile, since the platform has now gone
    completely multiplatform. Whee!
  - move of the 32kHz timer on OMAP to a proper timesource
  - Misc cleanup of older OMAP material (incl removal of one board file)
  - Switch over to new common PWM lookup support for several platforms

 There's also a handful of other cleanups across the tree, but the above are
 the major pieces.

Arnd Bergmann 54c09889bf ARM: pxa: remove incorrect __init annotation on pxa27x_set_pwrmode
The z2 machine calls pxa27x_set_pwrmode() in order to power off
the machine, but this function gets discarded early at boot because
it is marked __init, as pointed out by kbuild:

WARNING: vmlinux.o(.text+0x145c4): Section mismatch in reference from the function z2_power_off() to the function .init.text:pxa27x_set_pwrmode()
The function z2_power_off() references
the function __init pxa27x_set_pwrmode().
This is often because z2_power_off lacks a __init
annotation or the annotation of pxa27x_set_pwrmode is wrong.

This removes the __init section modifier to fix rebooting and the
build error.

Petr Cvek f78b3a126b ARM: pxa: magician: Rename charger cable detection EGPIOs
This patch renames EGPIOs, which are used for the charging cable presence
and type detection. Old names did not correspond with an observed
functionality (on board_id 0x3a). The behavior is not:

- AC charger
- USB charger
- Cable detection

, but:

- AC/USB type
- Cable detection1
- Cable detection2

This patch fixes a possible typo in the bit offset for the cable detection
EGPIO declaration, too.

Robert Jarzmik adf3442cc8 ARM: pxa: fix DFI bus lockups on startup
After the conversion of pxa architecture to common clock framework, the
NAND clock can be disabled on startup if no nand driver claims it.

In this case, it happens that if the bootloader used the NAND and set
the DFI arbitration bit, the next access to a static memory controller
area, such as an ethernet card, the system bus will stall, and the core
will be stalled forever.

Fix this by clearing the DFI arbritration bit in pxa3xx startup. The bit
will be enabled the pxa3xx-nand driver on need anyway. The only left
requirement is that upon pxa3xx-nand removal, the bit should be cleared
before the clock is disabled.

The drivers for the SA1100 and PXA RTCs are now mutually exclusive, so
add the memory resource for the sa1100-rtc device. Since the memory

Rob Herring 3cdf4ad963 rtc: pxa: convert to use shared sa1100 functions
Currently, the rtc-sa1100 and rtc-pxa drivers co-exist as rtc-pxa has a
superset of functionality. Having 2 drivers sharing the same memory
resource is not allowed by the driver model if resources are properly
declared. This problem was avoided by not adding memory resources to the
SA1100 RTC driver, but that prevents clean-up of the SA1100 driver.

This commit converts the PXA RTC to use the exported SA1100 RTC
functions. Now the sa1100-rtc and pxa-rtc devices are mutually
exclusive, so we must remove the sa1100-rtc from pxa27x and pxa3xx.

Rob Herring e8d36d5dbb ARM: kill off set_irq_flags usage
set_irq_flags is ARM specific with custom flags which have genirq
equivalents. Convert drivers to use the genirq interfaces directly, so we
can kill off set_irq_flags. The translation of flags is as follows:

IRQF_VALID -> !IRQ_NOREQUEST
IRQF_PROBE -> !IRQ_NOPROBE
IRQF_NOAUTOEN -> IRQ_NOAUTOEN

For IRQs managed by an irqdomain, the irqdomain core code handles clearing
and setting IRQ_NOREQUEST already, so there is no need to do this in
.map() functions and we can simply remove the set_irq_flags calls. Some
users also modify IRQ_NOPROBE and this has been maintained although it
is not clear that is really needed. There appears to be a great deal of
blind copy and paste of this code.

Robert Jarzmik 4be0856fa3 ARM: pxa: transition to dmaengine phase 1
In order to slowly transition pxa to dmaengine, the legacy code will now
rely on dmaengine to request a channel.

This implies that PXA architecture selects DMADEVICES and PXA_DMA,
which is not pretty. Yet it enables PXA drivers to be ported one by one,
with part of them using dmaengine, and the other part using the legacy
code.

Linus Torvalds 2ad7b44f5d Merge branch 'for-linus-clk' of git://ftp.arm.linux.org.uk/~rmk/linux-arm
Pull clkdev updates from Russell King:
 "This series addresses some breakage in clkdev caused by a previous
  patch set from the clk tree which introduced per-user clk structures.
  This basically renamed the existing 'struct clk' to 'struct clk_hw',
  and introduced a new 'struct clk'.

  This change will break anyone using clk_add_alias() with the common
  clk code enabled. Thankfully, the intersection of users of
  clk_add_alias() and those using the common clk code is practically
  zero, but this is something which should be fixed to keep the code
  sane.

  The problem is that clk_add_alias() does this:

        r = clk_get(...);
        l = clkdev_alloc(r, ...);
        clk_put(...);

  which causes the alias to store a pointer to 'r', which has been
  freed.

  The original patch set tried to work around this problem incorrectly -
  at clk_get() time, it tried to convert the struct clk to a struct
  clk_hw, and then creating a new struct clk from that. Clearly, if the
  original struct clk has been freed, then we have a use-after-free bug.

  We have other places in the tree which do something similar, so this
  series also addresses those locations too.

  This series addresses this problem by converting clkdev to store and
  use the clk_hw pointer. This allows clk_get() to only have to create
  it's per-user struct clk from the clk_hw. We can also get to the
  desired clk_hw at clk_add_alias() or clk lookup creation time, when
  the struct clk is "alive".

  We also perform some cleanups of the code:

   - replacing looped calls to clkdev_add() with clkdev_add_table()

   - replacing open-coded lookup allocation (which should have been
     using clkdev_alloc()) and subsequent clkdev_add() with
     clkdev_create()

   - replacing open-coded clk_add_alias() with clk_add_alias()"

Robert Jarzmik 5e1d012851 ARM: pxa: change clocks init sequence
Since pxa clocks were ported to the clock framework, an ordering issue
appears between clocks and clocksource initialization. As a consequence,
the pxa timer clock cannot be acquired in pxa_timer, and is disabled by
clock framework because it is "unused".

The ordering issue is that in the kernel boot sequence :
  start_kernel()
    ...
    time_init()
      -> pxa_timer()
        -> here the clocksource is initialized
    ...
    rest_init()
      kernel_init()
	initcalls
	  -> here the clocks are initialized

In the current sequence, the clocks are initialized way after pxa_timer,
which cannot acquire the OSTIMER0 clock.

To solve this issue, the clocks initialization is moved to pxa_timer(),
so that clocks are initialized before clocksource for non device-tree.
For device-tree, the standard arm time_init() will take care of the
ordering.

Robert Jarzmik aa8d6b73ea ARM: pxa: pxa_cplds: add lubbock and mainstone IO
Historically, this support was in arch/arm/mach-pxa/lubbock.c and
arch/arm/mach-pxa/mainstone.c. When gpio-pxa was moved to drivers/pxa,
it became a driver, and its initialization and probing happened at
postcore initcall. The lubbock code used to install the chained lubbock
interrupt handler at init_irq() time.

The consequence of the gpio-pxa change is that the installed chained irq
handler lubbock_irq_handler() was overwritten in pxa_gpio_probe(_dt)(),
removing :
 - the handler
 - the falling edge detection setting of GPIO0, which revealed the
   interrupt request from the lubbock IO board.

As a fix, move the gpio0 chained handler setup to a place where we have
the guarantee that pxa_gpio_probe() was called before, so that lubbock
handler becomes the true IRQ chained handler of GPIO0, demuxing the
lubbock IO board interrupts.

This patch moves all that handling to a mfd driver. It's only purpose
for the time being is the interrupt handling, but in the future it
should encompass all the motherboard CPLDs handling :
 - leds
 - switches
 - hexleds

The same logic applies to mainstone board.

Arnd Bergmann b70661c708 net: smc91x: use run-time configuration on all ARM machines
The smc91x driver traditionally gets configured at compile-time
for whichever hardware it runs on. This no longer works on
ARM as we continue to move to building all-in-one kernels.

Most ARM configurations with this driver already use run-time
configuration through DT or through platform_data, but a
few have not been converted yet.

I've checked all ARM boards that use this driver in their
legacy board files, and converted the ones that were using
compile-time configuration in smc91x.h to behave like the
other ones and provide the interrupt polarity along with
the MMIO configuration (width, stride) at platform device
creation time.

In particular, these combinations were previously selectable
in Kconfig but in fact broken:

- sa1100 assabet plus pleb
- msm combined with any other armv6/v7 platform
- pxa-idp combined with any non-DMA pxa variant
- LogicPD PXA270 combined with any other pxa
- nomadik combined with any other armv4/v5 platform,
  e.g. versatile.

None of these seem critical enough to warrant a backport
to stable, but it would be nice to clean this up for good.

Robert Jarzmik d6cf30ca71 ARM: pxa: fix pxa interrupts handling in DT
The commit "ARM: pxa: arbitrarily set first interrupt number" changed
the first pxa interrupt to 16.

As a consequence, device-tree builds got broken, because :
 - pxa_mask_irq() and pxa_unmask_irq() are using IRQ_BIT()
 - IRQ_BIT(x) calculates the interrupts as : x - PXA_IRQ(0)

Before the commit, the first interrupt shift, PXA_IRQ(0) was 0,
therefore IRQ_BIT(x) was x. After the change, it is necessary that the
same shift of 16 is applied between the virtual interrupt number and the
hardware irq number.

This situation comes from the common irq_chip shared between legacy
platform builds and device-tree builds.

Fix the broken interrupts in DT case by adding this shift in the DT case
too.

As a consequence of the IRQ_BIT() is removed alltogether from interrupts
handling, even in the platform data types of platforms :
 - a legacy irq domain is used
 - the irq_chip handles hardware interrupts
 - the virtual to hardware interrupt conversion is fully handled by irq

Mark Rutland f9eff21976 arm: pxa: specify PMUs are for XScale CPUs
Now that we can specify which PMU variant we're likely to deal with, do
so in the pxa board code. This will allow us to split the ARMv6, ARMv7,
and XScale PMU drivers.

Robert Jarzmik 33a5b8838e ARM: pxa: fix broken isa interrupts for zeus and viper
Commit "ARM: pxa: arbitrarily set first interrupt number" broke viper
and zeus boards which still refer to PXA_ISA_IRQ() macro. Redefine
the macro, which declares the legacy interrupts from 0 to 15.
