pll_u can be either controlled by software or hardware and this is
selected via the OVERRIDE bit in the pll_u base register. In the function
tegra210_pll_init(), the OVERRIDE bit for pll_u is cleared, which selects
hardware control of the pll. However, at the same time the pll_u clocks
are populated in the init_table for tegra210 and so software will try to
configure the pll_u if it is not already configured and hence, the above
warning is seen when the pll fails to lock. Remove the pll_u clocks from
the init_table so that software does not try to configure this pll on
boot.

The EMC clock sources for Tegra210 currently incorrectly include pll_c2
and pll_c3. However, both of these should have been pll_mb as shown in
the TRM. If Tegra210 happens to be configured such that the pll_mb is the
default clock for the EMC, as configured by the bootloader, then this will
cause a system hang on boot. This is because the kernel will disable the
pll_mb when disabling unused clock as it appears to be unused when it is
not.
Also add the additional pll_p clock source for the EMC.

While enabling PLLE on both Tegra114 and Tegra210, we should be clearing
PLLE_MISC_VREG_BG_CTRL_MASK and PLLE_MISC_VREG_CTRL_MASK not setting
them. This patch fixes both places where we incorrectly set instead of
cleared those bits.

The logic for calculating the input rate used when figuring out the
proper dynamic steps for pllx was incorrect. It is supposed to be

Most PLL's don't actually have LOCK_ENABLE bits. However, most PLL's
also had that flag set, which meant that the clk code was trying to
enable locks, and inadvertantly flipping bits in other fields.
For PLLM, ensure the correct register is used for the misc_register.
PLL_MISC0 contains the EN_LCKDET bit which should be used for enabling
the lock, and PLLM_MISC1 shouldn't be used at all.
Lastly, remove some of the settings which would point to the EN_LCKDET
bits for some PLLs. There is no need to enable the locks, and that is
done as part of the set_defaults logic already.

Without this change clk_get_rate would return the final output
rather than the VCO output as it would factor in the pdiv when
it shouldn't. This will cause problems for all dividers in the
subtree of the VCO PLL.

Tegra210 SoC's have 2 PLLs for memory usage. Add plumbing to register
and handle PLLMB.
PLLMB is used to allow switching between 2 PLLM's without having to use
and intermediate backup PLL, as we need to lock the PLL before we can
switch to it.

PLLM is fixed for Tegra30 up through Tegra114. Starting with Tegra124
PLLM can change rate. Mark PLLM as TEGRA_PLL_FIXED for the generations
where it should be. Modify the check in clk_pll_round_rate() and
clk_pll_recalc_rate() to allow for the non-fixed version to return the
correct rate.
Note that there is no change for Tegra20. This is because PLLM is not
distinguished in that driver, and adding either the PLLM or FIXED_RATE
flags will cause potential problems.
PLLM never supported dynamic ramping. On Tegra20 and Tegra30, there is
no dynamic ramping at all, and on Tegra114, Tegra124 and Tegra132, only
PLLX and PLLC support dynamic ramping, so we can go ahead and remove the
specialized pllm_ops.

This removes the conversion from pdiv to hw, which is already taken
care of by _get_table_rate before this code is run. This avoids
incorrectly converting pdiv to hw twice and getting the wrong hw value.
Also set the input_rate in the freq cfg in _calc_dynamic_ramp_rate while
setting all the other fields.
In order to prevent regressions on earlier SoC generations, all of the
frequency tables need to be updated so that they contain the actual
divider values. If they contain hardware values these would be converted
to hardware values again, yielding the wrong value.

For Tegra210, the logic to calculate out-of-table rates is different
from previous generations. Add callbacks that can be overridden to
allow for different ways of calculating rates. Default to
_cal_rate when not specified.
This patch also includes a new flag which is used to set which method
of fixed_mdiv calculation is used. The new method for calculating the
fixed divider value for M can be more accurate especially when
fractional dividers are in play. This allows for older chipsets to use
the existing logic and new generations to use a newer version which
may work better for them.

This adds logic for taking SDM_DIN (Sigma Delta Modulator) setting into
the equation to calculate the effective N value for PLL which supports
fractional divider.
The effective N = NDIV + 1/2 + SDM_DIN/2^13, where NDIV is the integer

SoC specific drivers should define the appropriate flags for each
PLL rather than relying on the registration functions to automatically
set flags on their behalf. This will properly allow for changes between
SoC generations where flags might be different and allow sharing the
same logic functions.

Tegra210 has significant differences in muxes for peripheral clocks.
One of the most important changes is that pll_m isn't to be used
as a source for peripherals. Therefore, we need to define the new
muxes and new clocks to use those muxes for Tegra210 support.
Tegra210 has some differences in the PLLP clock tree:
- Four new output clocks: PLLP_OUT_CPU, PLLP_OUT_ADSP, PLLP_OUT_HSIO,
and PLLP_OUT_XUSB.
- PLLP_OUT2 is fixed at 1/2 the rate of PLLP_VCO.
- PLLP_OUT4 is the child of PLLP_OUT_CPU.
Update the xusb_hs_src mux and add the xusb_ssp_src mux for Tegra210.

The OSC_FREQ field of the OSC_CTRL register uses the value 12 for an
oscillator frequency of 26 MHz, not 260 MHz. This isn't really critical
because I don't think boards with such an oscillator have ever existed,
much less been supported upstream.

The new determine_rate prototype allows for clock rates exceeding
2^31-1 Hz to be used. Switch the DFLL clock to use determine_rate
instead of round_rate and unlock the top rates supported by the
Tegra124.

Clock rates are stored in an unsigned long field, but ->determine_rate()
(which returns a rounded rate from a requested one) returns a long
value (errors are reported using negative error codes), which can lead
to long overflow if the clock rate exceed 2Ghz.
Change ->determine_rate() prototype to return 0 or an error code, and pass
a pointer to a clk_rate_request structure containing the expected target
rate and the rate constraints imposed by clk users.
The clk_rate_request structure might be extended in the future to contain
other kind of constraints like the rounding policy, the maximum clock
inaccuracy or other things that are not yet supported by the CCF
(power consumption constraints ?).

Save and restore this register since the LP1 restore assembly routines
fiddle with it. Otherwise the CPU would keep running on PLLX after
resume from suspend even when DFLL was the original clocksource.

Add basic platform driver support for the fast CPU cluster DFLL
clocksource found on Tegra124 SoCs. This small driver selects the
appropriate Tegra124-specific characterization data and integration
code. It relies on the DFLL common code to do most of the work.

The DVCO present in the DFLL IP block has a separate reset line,
exposed via the CAR IP block. This reset line is asserted upon SoC
reset. Unless something (such as the DFLL driver) deasserts this
line, the DVCO will not oscillate, although reads and writes to the
DFLL IP block will complete.

This patch allows SoC-specific CAR initialization routines to register
their own reset_assert and reset_deassert callbacks with the common Tegra
CAR code. If defined, the common code will call these callbacks when a
reset control with number >= num_periph_banks * 32 is attempted to be asserted
or deasserted respectively. Numbers greater than or equal to num_periph_banks * 32
are used to avoid clashes with low numbers that are automatically mapped to
standard CAR reset lines.
Each SoC with these special resets should specify the defined reset control
numbers in a device tree header file.

Tegra CVB tables encode the relationship between operating voltage
and optimal frequency as a function of the so-called speedo value.
The speedo value is written to the on-chip fuses at the factory,
which allows the voltage-frequency operating points to be calculated
on an per-chip basis.
Add utility functions to parse the Tegra-specific tables and export the
voltage-frequency pairs to the generic OPP framework for other drivers
to use.

With closed loop support, the clock rate of the DFLL can be adjusted.
The oscillator itself in the DFLL is a free-running oscillator whose
rate is directly determined the supply voltage. However, the DFLL
module contains logic to compare the DFLL output rate to a fixed
reference clock (51 MHz) and make a decision to either lower or raise
the DFLL supply voltage. The DFLL module can then autonomously change
the supply voltage by communicating with an off-chip PMIC via either I2C
or PWM signals. This driver currently supports only I2C.

Add shared code to support the Tegra DFLL clocksource in open-loop
mode. This root clocksource is present on the Tegra124 SoCs. The
DFLL is the intended primary clock source for the fast CPU cluster.
This code is very closely based on a patch by Paul Walmsley from
December (http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.linux.ports.tegra/15273),
which in turn comes from the internal driver by originally created
by Aleksandr Frid <afrid@nvidia.com>.
Subsequent patches will add support for closed loop mode and drivers
for the Tegra124 fast CPU cluster DFLL devices, which rely on this
code.

The driver is currently only tested on Tegra124 Jetson TK1, but should
work with other Tegra124 boards, provided that correct EMC tables are
provided through the device tree. Older chip models have differing
timing change sequences, so they are not currently supported.

There is no reason why Tegra114 cannot use the same generic code to set
up the oscillator, clk_m and pll_ref clocks. The only effective change
that this causes is that the CLK_SET_PARENT_RATE flag is dropped, but
since these clocks are all fixed it is not needed anyway.

Currently the Tegra clock driver simplifies the clock tree somewhat by
taking advantage of the fact that clk_m runs at the same frequency as
the oscillator. While that's true on all currently supported SoCs, it
does not apply to Tegra210 anymore. On Tegra210 clk_m is typically
divided down from the oscillator frequency. To support that setup, add
a separate clock for the oscillator that both clk_m and pll_ref derive
from.
Modify the tegra_osc_clk_init() function to take an additional divider
parameter for clk_m. Existing SoCs always pass in 1, whereas Tegra210
will read the divider from a register in the clock & reset controller.

The number of resets controls is 32 times the number of peripheral
register banks rather than 32 times the number of clocks. This reduces
(drastically) the number of reset controls registered from 10080 (315
clocks * 32) to 224 (6 peripheral register banks * 32).
This also fixes a potential crash because trying to use any of the
excess reset controls (224-10079) would have caused accesses beyond
the array bounds of the peripheral register banks definition array.

Add the clocks used for HDMI audio played through the HDA controller.
Initialize the codec clock to 48Mhz and the HDA clock to 102MHz per

PLLD is the only parent for DSIA & DSIB on Tegra124 and
Tegra132. Besides, BIT 30 in PLLD_MISC register controls
the output of DSI clock.
So this patch removes "dsia_mux" & "dsib_mux", and create
a new clock "plld_dsi" to represent the DSI clock enable
control.

Tegra132 CAR supports almost the same clocks as Tegra124 CAR. This
patch mostly deals with the small differences.
Since Tegra132 contains many of the same PLL clock sources used on
Tegra114 and Tegra124, enable them in drivers/clk/tegra/clk-pll.c when
the kernel is configured to include Tegra132 support.
This patch is based on several patches from others:

tegra_clocks_apply_init_table() needs to be called after the udelay
loop has been calibrated (see commit
441f199a37 ("clk: tegra: defer
application of init table") for why that is). On existing Tegra SoCs
this was done by calling tegra_clocks_apply_init_table() from
tegra_dt_init(). To make this also work on ARM64, we need to change
this into an initcall. tegra_dt_init() is called from
customize_machine which is an arch_initcall. Therefore this should
also work on existing 32bit Tegra SoCs.
Tested on Tegra20 (ventana), Tegra30 (beaverboard), Tegra124 (jetson TK1) and
Tegra132.

Set the parent of the dsi lp clocks to pll_p and the rate
to 68MHz. The default parent is clk_m and rate is 12MHz, this
is too slow to receive data from the peripheral.
Per NVidia HW engineers, the optimal rate is 70MHz, but 68MHz
will suffice.

Since the SDMMC controller registers are accessed via the APB,
the APB must be flushed before gating the SDMMC clocks to prevent
register accesses to the SDMMC controllers after their clocks are
gated.

Don't abort clock initialization if we cannot match an entry in
tegra_clk_init_table to a valid entry in the clk array.
Also log a corresponding error message.
This was discovered when testing a patch that removed the EMC clock from
tegra124_clks but left a mention in tegra_clk_init_table.

This merge window brings a good size of cleanups on various
platforms. Among the bigger ones:
* Removal of Samsung s5pc100 and s5p64xx platforms. Both of these have
lacked active support for quite a while, and after asking around nobody
showed interest in keeping them around. If needed, they could be
resurrected in the future but it's more likely that we would prefer
reintroduction of them as DT and multiplatform-enabled platforms
instead.
* OMAP4 controller code register define diet. They defined a lot of registers
that were never actually used, etc.
* Move of some of the Tegra platform code (PMC, APBIO, fuse, powergate)
to drivers/soc so it can be shared with 64-bit code. This also converts them
over to traditional driver models where possible.
* Removal of legacy gpio-samsung driver, since the last users have been
removed (moved to pinctrl)
Plus a bunch of smaller changes for various platforms that sort of
dissapear in the diffstat for the above. clps711x cleanups, shmobile
header file refactoring/moves for multiplatform friendliness, some misc

When writing a module for testing or debugging purposes, there is no way to
get hold of clk handles. This patch solves this by exposing all valid clocks
as clkdev's for the virtual device tegra-clk-debug.

vi_sensor and vi_sensor2 have a wrong hw clkid on Tegra124. Fix this by
correcting the hw clkid for Tegra124 and creating the Tegra114 vi_sensor clock
from its own data. Tegra124 was also using the wrong internal clock id.

Currently the Tegra1x4 clock init code hard-codes the mux setting
for xusb_hs_src and treats it as a fixed-factor clock. It is,
however, a mux which can be parented by either xusb_ss_src/2 or
pll_u_60M. Add the fixed-factor clock xusb_ss_div2 and put an
entry in periph_clks[] for the xusb_hs_src mux.

Enable hardware control of PLLE spread-spectrum, IDDQ, and enable
controls when enabling PLLE. The hardware (e.g. XUSB) using PLLE

PLLE has M, N and P divider shift and width parameters that differ from
the defaults. Furthermore, when clearing the M, N and P divider fields
the corresponding masks were never shifted, thereby clearing only the
lowest bits of the register. This lead to a situation where the PLLE
programming would only work if the register hadn't been touched before.

When requesting a rate less than the minimum clock rate for a divider,
use the maximum divider value instead of bailing out with an error.

When pll_x is the parent of cclk_lp, PLLX_DIV2_BYPASS_LP determines
whether cclk_lp output is divided by 2. Set TEGRA_DIVIDER_2 so that

The sdmmc clocks on Tegra114 and Tegra124 are 3-bit wide muxes with
6 parents. Add support for tegra_clk_sdmmc*_8 and switch Tegra114

This table had settings for 216MHz, but PLLP is (and is supposed to be)
configured at 408MHz. If that table is used and PLLP_BASE_OVRRIDE is
not set, the kernel will panic in clk_pll_recalc_rate().

The Tegra CAR module implements both a clock and reset controller. So
far, the driver exposes the clock feature via the common clock API and
the reset feature using a custom API. This patch adds an implementation
of the common reset framework API (include/linux/reset*.h). The legacy
reset implementation will be removed once all drivers have been
converted.

clk_round_rate() can be used by drivers to determine whether or not a
frequency is supported by the clock. The current Tegra clock driver
outputs an error message and a stacktrace when the requested rate isn't
supported. That's fine for clk_set_rate(), but it's confusing when all
the driver does is query whether or not a frequency is supported.

The clock for the PWM controller is slightly different from other
peripheral clocks on Tegra30. The clock source mux field start at

There are two GPUs on Tegra30 and each of them uses a separate clock, so
the secondary clock needs to be initialized in order for the gr3d module
to work properly.

Hook the functions for CPU hotplug support. After the CPU is hot

Many clocks are common between several Tegra SoCs. Define an enum to list
them so we can move them to separate files which can be shared between
SoCs. Each SoC specific file will provide an array with the common clocks
which are present on the SoC and their DT binding ID.

Use pll_ref instead of pll_re_vco as the pll_e parent on Tegra114. Also
add a 12Mhz pll_ref table entry for pll_e for Tegra114. This prevents
the system from crashing at bootup because of an unsupported pll_re_vco
rate.

VCO min clipping, dynamic ramp setup and IDDQ init can be done in the
respective PLL clk_register functions if the parent is already registered.

This patch makes periph_clk_enb_refcnt a global array, dynamically allocated
at boottime. It simplifies the macros somewhat and allows clocks common to
several Tegra SoCs to be defined in a separate files. Also the clks array
becomes global and dynamically allocated which allows the DT registration to
be moved to a generic funcion.

This patch determines the register bank for clock enable/disable and reset
based on the clock ID instead of hardcoding it in the tables describing the
clocks. This results in less data to be maintained in the tables, making the
code easier to understand. The full benefit of the change will be realized once
also other clocktypes will be table based.

The PLL output frequency is multiplied during the P-divider computation,
so it needs to be divided by the P-divider again before returning.
This fixes an issue where clk_round_rate() would return the multiplied
frequency instead of the real one after the P-divider.

The power-on default parent for this clock is pll_m, which turns out to
be wrong. Previously, bootloader reparented this clock. We'll do it in
the kernel as well, so that there's one less thing that we depend on
bootloader to initialize.

In Tegra114, vde/gr_2d/gr_3d have 3 bits for clock source selection.
So change the clock init macro for these clocks from
"TEGRA_INIT_DATA_INT" to "TEGRA_INIT_DATA_INT8".
Besides, no one uses "TEGRA_INIT_DATA_INT" after this change, so

The lock bit on PLL_U does not seem to be working correctly and
sometimes never gets set when waiting for the PLL to come up.

Add a CLK_SET_RATE_NO_REPARENT clock flag, which will prevent muxes
being reparented during clk_set_rate.
To avoid breaking existing platforms, all callers of clk_register_mux()
are adjusted to pass the new flag. Platform maintainers are encouraged
to remove the flag if they wish to allow mux reparenting on set_rate.

When the system suspends to LP1, the CPU clock source is switched to
CLK_M (12MHz Oscillator) during suspend/resume flow. The CPU clock
source is controlled by the CCLKG_BURST_POLICY register, and hence this
register must be restored during LP1 resume.

Add DFLL DVCO reset line control functions to the CAR IP block driver.
The DVCO present in the DFLL IP block has a separate reset line,
exposed via the CAR IP block. This reset line is asserted upon SoC
reset. Unless something (such as the DFLL driver) deasserts this
line, the DVCO will not oscillate, although reads and writes to the
DFLL IP block will complete.

Add clock functions to initialize, enable, and disable the FCPU clock
shapers, based on the FCPU voltage rail state. These will be used by
the DFLL clocksource driver code.
This version of the patch contains a fix for a problem noticed by Andrew

incorrectly defined.

The pllc and pllxc code weren't always using the correct pdiv_map to

Tegra has a blink timer register that allows to modulate the
clk_32k clock before outputting it. Since clk_32k is presented to the
kernel as a fixed clock, make sure this register does not tamper with
the clock frequency and that clk_32k is outputted as-is, similarly to
what is done on t20 and t30.

The conventional CPU hotplug sequence on the other Tegra chips, we will also
clock gate the CPU in tegra_cpu_kill() after the CPU was power gated. For
Tegra114, the flow controller will clock gate the CPU after the power down
sequence. But we still need to implement a empty function for disable_clock
to avoid kernel warning message.

The USB clocks are just clock gates, so no need to set a specific clock.
In fact trying to set a specific clock is just a NOP if the requested
clockrate is the same as those of the parent (clk_m) or will trigger a
WARN_ON() if rates don't match up.
As we are not setting a specific rate, nor activating the clocks at
init, there is no point in keeping the the usb entries in the clock init
table.

This is a rather large set of patches for device drivers that for one
reason or another the subsystem maintainer preferred to get merged
through the arm-soc tree. There are both new drivers as well as
existing drivers that are getting converted from platform-specific
code into standalone drivers using the appropriate subsystem
specific interfaces.
In particular, we can now have pinctrl, clk, clksource and irqchip
drivers in one file per driver, without the need to call into
platform specific interface, or to get called from platform specific
code, as long as all information about the hardware is provided
through a device tree.
Most of the drivers we touch this time are for clocksource. Since
now most of them are part of drivers/clocksource, I expect that we
won't have to touch these again from arm-soc and can let the
clocksource maintainers take care of these in the future.
Another larger part of this series is specific to the exynos platform,
which is seeing some significant effort in upstreaming and
modernization of its device drivers this time around, which
unfortunately is also the cause for the churn and a lot of the
merge conflicts.
There is one new subsystem that gets merged as part of this series:
the reset controller interface, which is a very simple interface
for taking devices on the SoC out of reset or back into reset.
Patches to use this interface on i.MX follow later in this merge
window, and we are going to have other platforms (at least tegra
and sirf) get converted in 3.11. This will let us get rid of
platform specific callbacks in a number of platform independent
device drivers.

Here is a collection of fixes (and some intermixed cleanups) that were
considered less important and thus not included in the later parts of
the 3.9-rc cycle.
It's a bit all over the map, contents wise. A series of ux500 fixes
and cleanups, a bunch of various fixes for OMAP and tegra, and some for
Freescale i.MX and even Qualcomm MSM.
Note that there's also a patch on this branch to globally turn off
-Wmaybe-uninitialized when building with -Os. It's been posted several
times by Arnd and no dissent was raised, but nobody seemed interested

A gap exists in the binding's clock ID definitions. Fix the clock driver

Refactor the PLL programming code to make it useable by the new PLL types
introduced by Tegra114.
The following changes were done:
* Split programming the PLL into updating m,n,p and updating cpcon
* Move locking from _update_pll_cpcon() to clk_pll_set_rate()
* Introduce _get_pll_mnp() helper
* Move check for identical m,n,p values to clk_pll_set_rate()
* struct tegra_clk_pll_freq_table will always contain the values as defined
by the hardware.
* Simplify the arguments to clk_pll_wait_for_lock()
* Split _tegra_clk_register_pll()

tegra_boot_secondary() relies on some of the car ops. This means having an
uninitialized tegra_cpu_car_ops will lead to an early boot panic.
Providing a dummy struct avoids this and makes adding Tegra114 clock support
in a bisectable way a lot easier.

The Tegra clock driver is initialized during the ARM machine descriptor's
.init_irq() hook. It can't be initialized earlier, since dynamic memory
usage is required. It can't be initialized later, since the .init_timer()
hook needs the clocks initialized. However, at this time, udelay()
doesn't work.
The Tegra clock initialization table may enable some PLLs. Enabling a PLL
may require usage of udelay(). Hence, this can't happen right when the
clock driver is initialized.
To solve this, separate the clock driver initialization from the clock
table processing, so they can execute at separate times.

By default these clocks are children of pll_m, but in downstream kernels
they are reparented to pll_c. While at it, decrease their frequencies to
300 MHz because the defaults aren't in the specified range.
gr2d can reportedly run at much higher frequencies, but 300 MHz works
and is a more conservative default.

The tegra_periph_reset_assert() and tegra_periph_reset_deassert()
functions can be used by drivers to reset peripherals. In order to allow
such drivers to be built as modules, export the functions.
Note that this restores the status quo as the functions were exported
before the move to the drivers/clk tree.

Under some circumstances the PLLE needs to be retrained, in which case
access to the PMC registers is required. Fix this by passing a pointer
to the PMC registers instead of NULL when registering the PLLE clock.

enum tegra*_clk is intended to match the IDs listed in the Tegra clock
bindings. There are a few mismatches, which this patch fixes:
1) pll_s and cop were left out of the Tegra20 enum.
2) spdif_in and spdif_out were swapped relative to the Tegra30 binding.
3) i2cslow was misnamed as i2c_slow, and a duplicate i2cslow clock added
to the Tegra30 enum.

Although tegra_clk_register_super_mux() has a lock parameter, the lock is not
actually used by the code. Fixed with this patch.

The index of se should be 127. And the previous clock index was 125. So
we need to set up the index for se to get the correct index between se
to sata_cold.

Migrate Tegra clock support to drivers/clk/tegra, this involves
moving:
1. definition of tegra_cpu_car_ops to clk.c
2. definition of reset functions to clk-peripheral.c
3. change parent of cpu clock.
4. Remove legacy clock initialization.
5. Initialize clocks using DT.
6. Remove all instance of mach/clk.h

not found, pass ops to _tegra_clk_register_pll rather than a bool.]
